Targeted Vocabulary: Research indicates that targeting vocabulary facilitates reading comprehension and oral language skills (Dole, Sloan, and Trathen, 1995).

Language Adventures is easily my most used language app for speech therapy. As an SLP, I love the ease with which I can set up the game, as well as the ability to change between receptive and expressive responses. My students always get excited when I let them play and it makes data collection super simple for me. The only drawback is that I often have students working on the same goals and the same questions will be presented to multiple students within the same session. I also wish it would give a summary of which questions were answered incorrectly, so I could better analyze a student’s areas of need.

Great app great intervention!
This is my go to performance assessment & data collector. Students from kdg. through middle school enjoy use of game board technique. Teachers & parents appreciate instant emailed report and progress. As SLP I appreciate the variety of language areas, three levels of difficulty, receptive & expressive options.
