^ Borrowing Power is based on the highest offer amount available to you through Credit Karma where you have Outstanding Approval Odds. The offers themselves are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice.
† Approval Odds are not a guarantee of approval. Credit Karma determines Approval Odds by comparing your credit profile to other Credit Karma members who were approved for the card shown, or whether you meet certain criteria determined by the lender. Of course, there's no such thing as a sure thing, but knowing your Approval Odds may help you narrow down your choices. For example, you may not be approved because you don't meet the lender's "ability to pay standard" after they verify your income and employment; or, you already have the maximum number of accounts with that specific lender.

I’ve found Credit Karma to be empowering. I haven’t found any application that truly is up to the minute accurate, CK gives me a good idea of where I am in my credit journey, with the added bonus of financial literacy. It’s an easy and intuitive application for individuals of all ages. I had impeccable credit for many years and in my later 30s found myself, going through financial hardships. Like many, I was disheartened by the blemishes on my credit, due to some tough decisions that had to be made. In return, those choices, I made, caused my score to drop, substantially. I avoided looking at my credit for several years, as it felt overwhelming, in an already overwhelming situation. I eventually found my big girl pants and swilled the fact, the only way to escape this daunting financial feeling was to take the first step and see where I was and how bad my financial picture in fact was. I downloaded the app. While it was a not so pretty picture, it allowed me to see the entire picture and simply start the journey to recovering. I educated myself on what where to begin and started chipping away at my debt, collections, and contributing to the positive aspects as much as positive. I’m not exactly where I want to be, but leap years ahead of where I was and plan to hit a big goal, by the end of this year. It all began with simply downloading the app and being able to access it, day or night, any day to make and carry my plan to recovery and financial freedom. I highly recommend CK!
Very beneficial and easy to understand what moves to make and track and what options are available

I got Credit Karma app because I filed my Tax Returns 10 or 11 days ago and as a method I could select to receive my Federal and State refunds I selected the Credit Karma card to have my funds automatically deposited to once my returns are processed because I was told this would be the quickest method. I’m still waiting (religiously) to receive my refunds but in the meantime I have been looking around the app and found several different options available that can help me with things I had no previous knowledge of how to go about fixing. Such as how to raise my credit score and this involved being able to dispute the major collection that has been plaguing my credit score courtesy of an over-charged apartment complex from 7 or 8 years ago that my brother-in-law put my name on the lease and it ruined my credit due to his own mishandlings with this particularly over charging and greedy apartment complex in Downtown Denver either in 2013 or 2014. Previously I had no idea why or what was causing my low credit score other then one unpaid medical bill because I don’t have a history of using or abusing credit. I’m just finally happy to have a way to hopefully get my credit sorted out and have a reliable way to manage my finances and keep track of my purchases. So far I am very happy with the service provided by Credit Karma. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a better understanding of your financial situation. Thank you Credit Karma!- Jacob Samano.
Old credit scores not removed from Transunion.

I was talking to someone this past week about a loan and they connected me to someone from Lexington Law who wanted me to sign up for help removing negative scores. He pulled up Transunion and said I had 10 derogatory scores of which he could only see 5. The oldest one was from 2013 or maybe it was older. It was from Covington Credit and said I was 3 months behind. There was another one snout One Main Financial. I don’t remember what the other was but I asked him why they had not been removed if they were that old. I tried to open credit karma but could not open it for several days then today it opened. I saw some increase in my scores and checked to see about the old scores he was questioning and did not see anything he was questioning about Covington Credit or One Main. I told him I did not want Lexington Law to do anything because I have used them in the past for many years so why did they not clear these old records for all the money I paid them. If you would check the old postings you have on record I would appreciate it. I know I had a score of 720 a few months ago and was trying to get a loan in line from several sources and had to pay $1 to pull my score only to get denied and my score started dropping every time my credit was pulled until it got down to 590 plus I failed to cancel and got charged the monthly fee for credit protection until they charged me by the month which made me extremely upset. Thank you Credit Karma for the help you have been to me through the years with my score and especially my taxes. Margaret Smith
Fantastic Resource to Take Financial Control!

This app is tremendous. Besides finding the best credit add and loan offers for you based on credit score, interest rate, etc., it also provides tips on how to raise your credit score, and just checking the app for your score once or twice a week provides a real dopamine hit the times you see your score rise. I found 2 accounts in collection totaling just $250. I paid them off and my credit score rose about 60 points. I then took the advice to consolidated my $5k in credit card balances into a personal loan. My score rose again. I always knew making timely payments were super important, but I also learned about credit card usage rates (debt to credit ratio), average age of credit history among all your cards, hard inquiries and more affected that affected my credit. I also knew it was smart to to keep credit utilization below 30%, and below 10% if possible, but I always used the same card with the lowest interest rate, keeping my total credit utilization below 10% but having one card at 50%. It turns out that each card should be kept below certain thresholds in addition to all cards in the aggregate. I have learned to much, and I have brought my credit up from the mid 600’s to over 800 in about 15 months, and all without the all important mortgage and car loans that are usually needed to get to 800 and get the best interest rates! I cannot recommend this app more highly. Credit Karma is an easy way to learn and take control of your financial life, and with interest rates climbing across the board these days, now is the time to try it yourself!
