Love this app! I’ll be taking my HESI next month on December 11th. This app along with the Elsevier Edition 4 has been a great help. I’ll check back to tell you all my score. Edit: I PASSED! 8 points higher then what was required! Vocabulary, Math, & Grammar was on point. So was reading. A&P was okay for the actual test! I managed to make an 80 on that section. Of course it’s not what I wanted, but I passed. The biology in the app was nothing like the actual exam being that was my lowest scoring section (70) 😩. Overall the app was useful and I managed to get a good score, I wish it would’ve had a better biology section though.

So, I only needed to take the Reading, Math, Biology, and Chemistry portions of the HESI exam. This app in conjunction with the HESI prep book by Elsevier really helped me a lot. I ended up getting a 94.5 cumulative score. 100 on the Biology, 92 on the Chemistry, 96 on the math, and 90 on the reading. That being said do not expect to see the questions on this app on the exam. The exam tests your critical thinking so, the app combined with the book gives you all the basic knowledge you need but, you need to apply that knowledge on the test. It is also important to note that if you took bio and chem (or whatever courses match with the exam sections you are taking) and then you study with the prep book and app, you should be fine. But, be warned the chemistry section was very random and the prep was only slightly helpful. I highly recommend going over the periodic table properties thoroughly. I knew the biology so well because I just took Microbio prior to the test and had a huge biology review in the course. The prep and app are GREAT for the math and reading though.All the being said, I studied for only 2 weeks and got these scores so, this is a great resource!

The app is functional but not effective. The anatomy and physiology portion is NOTHING like what is on the HESI. I took my HESI today and thank god I retained my anatomy 1 and 2 classes because this app did not help at all. The questions are not formed at all like they are on the real test and the information is much more specific than what is on the app. The Vocab. and reading comp. portions were helpful but you can find the exact same information for free on a quizlet. One category for my HESI wasn’t even on the app. My advice is do not waste your money on this and if you do, don’t use this as your only study source. I used several different sources and managed to score a 92 cumulative on my HESI but this app did not help me. Also, the app begins to crash heavily after a lot of data is stored in it. After I hit the 500 question mark the app became very very slow.

Used this app to help me prep for my HESI exam for Nursing. I was really having a hard time with anatomy because the test would pull really random questions for just 30 questions on our exam. This app helped to cover most of the different anatomy questions. Any questions I really had trouble with I just screenshot and memorized. Another suggestion: screen shot any questions you really had trouble with or had no idea what it was. Overall the app was easy to use and helped me gauge which subject I had trouble with which was anatomy and Math. English and Vocab was also on my test and this app helped since the physical prep book a friend gave me was pretty outdated and like 60% reliable when it came to Anatomy and Math...
