With Off, you can control your computers remotely, from anywhere in the world.
Off has several commands it can trigger on your computers, including:
- Wake Up (Wake-on-LAN)
- Shutdown
- Restart
- Sleep
- Hibernate
- Lock
- Keep Awake
- Display Message
- Media keys: play, pause, skip and volume
It works with any Windows PC, Mac or Linux PC. It doesn't require any complex setup or configuration; anyone can use it. Just scan the QR code the Off Helper shows on your computer.
Off has widgets for your Home Screen, Lock Screen and Control Center. See your computer's battery life and power status at a glance, or shut it down, wake it up or skip a track without opening the app.
Schedule your computer to shut down, restart or sleep at a set time, and follow the countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with Live Activities. If you've got kids, you can use this to limit how long they're spending on their computers by turning them off when it's time for bed.
Off keeps a status report of when each computer was on, asleep or off, so you can see how it's being used.
Off is integrated into Siri. You can create voice commands like "Hey Siri, switch off my computer" or "Hey Siri, wake up my Mac".
Off is fully compatible with Apple's Shortcuts app. With this, you can design your own automation routines that combine Off's ability to control your computers with any other action available through Shortcuts. For example, you could create a 'Finished Work' routine that turns off your office lights and shuts down your computer at the same time.
Off comes with an Apple Watch app. With just a tap on your wrist, you can control the computers in your home.
With Off, you'll be able to save money on your electricity because it'll be effortless to shut down your power-hungry machines. If you stream media from your computer, Off is invaluable as it lets you control playback and fix problems by restarting without even getting up.

Busy configuring a MacBook M2 for remote use, but still on my LAN. Tried to use Off to wake up the sleeping MBP so I could connect with TeamViewer. Did not wake up, regardless of router changes etc. Sent email to “Support,” not really expecting a response. Maybe in a week if that. Surprise response within hours. Solution within several days of back and forth emails with Mark. His updated version worked perfectly. Now that I can awaken the MBP, I can get on with the rest of my project. I tried posting a review a few minutes ago (my apologies for the double review). So so far the only issue I encountered. Was the fact that sometimes it refused to report its status to me and I had to keep repairing the windows client for it to work properly. I did figure out that re-adding the computer seem to fix my issue. I’m very happy with this app. And I will provide more feedback if there’s any more issues or bugs that I encounter. A simple solution For my need!

I have been looking for a WOL solution that works well for some time now. And this is quite honestly the best solution I have found to date.Features: Works from home, or on the road. Anywhere with internet that is to an agent install on your target machines. And it works well.More than one computer. I’m fairly sure I saw unlimited computers with a paid subscription.They offer lifetime subscription for 50$. I’m willing to be every person who buys that up front will get their money back and then some in power savings over time. That’s the true perk here…They also seek to have a product roadmap and tons on their suggestions board. I like what I see there too. Conclusion:This app is a no brainer. Not even an argument IMO.
