This app is very simple but don’t look for immediate updates on your schedule. It would be nice to get notified of a schedule change when it occurs, maybe even accepting the change or not. I would like to see a calendar that allows for putting in vacation requests or training notifications. For hourly people where pay rates may differ depending upon assigned tasks, the pay rate could be available for a tally. Even it could announce holiday closures or pay. But it is simple if that’s all you need.

I have been using Appointment-Plus for nine years, and when I started using the app about four years ago, I was very excited. It’s way easier than opening up a browser tab on your smart phone. It’s easier and faster to make an appointment using the app, and it’s a lot easier to check my schedule using my phone. I also have my assistant use the app so they can easily see the schedule at a moment’s glance. A couple reviewers have requested push notifications, which is a good feature request, but seems unnecessary to me. In the settings (on the computer) you can set your preferences to send an email to your account every time an appointment is made, so whenever a patient makes an appointment online or if my assistant makes an appointment, my Gmail pop-up becomes the “push notification“ that I need. I do have a feature request. On the computer program, when you make a reserve time, you click for the start time, and then you click another field for the end time. However using the app, you have to click the start time, and then you have to click the amount of time you want. For example you might click 3 PM, and then click two hours and 20 minutes (I have 10-minute intervals). But then if something changes instead of easily changing the start and end time, you have to do math which I find cumbersome and annoying, so I might have to change it to 2:30, and then change the timing to one hour and 10 minutes. It seems like a small detail why can’t they just be consistent and have the same set up that the PC uses? Overall a good experience, but there might even be other programs with apps that are way better. But I don’t know any different since I’ve been using this for nine years.

This app was working just fine and perfect calendar to schedule appointments for my clients. However, I totally agree with the other reviewers that whatever bugs you claim has been fixed, seems as if you added some bugs to this app. The app keeps saying loading, saving, spinning & then you can’t get into the calendar & you have to close the app and then go back in. It takes way too long to try making an appointment. We are looking into a different software as well. Unless you can fix this issue, we were very pleased before.

The app used to work just fine. Now with the last two updates I have done, it continues to tell me that the appointment slot cannot be found. If I schedule it through their A-P webpage online vs. App, I do not have this issue. The app is definitely not nearly as effective with this major problem. It still allows my temporary staff to note if they are unavailable (Reserved) and they can still see what I have scheduled for them, but I am unable to schedule their work through the app.
