I’ve been using this app to keep me in the green and then some for the past 3 years. Not only can you look up a company and review it’s fundamentals and technicals, but the Quant system is very accurate in picking stocks that will perform well in the short and long-term. I’ve seen stocks rated a strong buy after thinking they were just going to be average and sure enough they went up above any expectations I had, but the quant system saw it and made the proper recommendation. There are several great things I like very much about the desktop and phone app for Seeking Alpha. There is a very knowledgeable and vibrant community of traders just like me. I pick up great ideas from the members and importantly there are a ton of authors writing about each of the stocks. The analysis is very good on almost all aspects. The system lets you breakdown every aspect of the quarterly earnings and gives a percent of growth in the short 3-4 month period and analysts predictions for longer term growth. I look for companies with consistently upward revisions as this is a prime mover for growth and increased returns. Seeking Alpha shows all the revisions quarterly and annual. There never seems to be a shortage of writers and commentators who are knowledgeable about a stock and who offer good advice. I highly recommend this service to anyone who trades, and if you are just an intermediate trader you will find tutorials on learning how to read technical and fundamental analysis as well as a host of other tutorials to make my tradings easier and more profitable.

I have been a subscriber of iReit about 4 years, and love Brad and team’s daily articles. I have no substantial complaints and intend to continue to pay large for his advice and spot on analysis. My small complaint is that he seems to cater to obvious and long time responders on our daily chat. Some very expert-appearing ( by detail) responses appear in response to different analyses. Brad always seems to respond to these. I have written what some of these “ experts “ would call a dumb question. I call been called out for that as well by another so called expert. Not once has Brad ever responded to me or my “dumb” question. I graduated from West Point, have 3 Master’s degrees and rose to Director level in a Fortune 500 company. I believe as many benefits as iReit offers, it fails the “little people.” I consider myself ( self-described) as one of these.

The product is great and I see it as invaluable, so nothing negative on that front. However, that’s not the purpose of this review. First off I absolutely hate the app update they did at the beginning of 2025. I almost cancelled my subscription just because of that but I realized I like the tools and content enough to deal with it. But most importantly is I noticed a couple weeks ago my app started getting glitchy and laggy. It was still functional and not too much of a hindrance, however starting yesterday it is now so bad that the app is unusable. Nothing loads while scrolling and then freezes for about 20 seconds to reload more items and so on. Clicking on articles and such take about 10 seconds to load and the scrolling issue persists while reading. In the analysis tab it won’t even allow to click on different sector categories to change the articles. And the contact us is basically worthless. Hence why I’m leaving this review. Leaving a review on the App Store is sadly the most direct way and hassle free for me to reach out about the gradual deteriorating performance of my app. And no it’s not my device. Every other app I have functions as it should.

Had to delete another money greedy app. I got tired of the flood of notifications and inability to read the volume of articles because of their high price. I get the same articles on the Apple News even though I don’t pay for either Apple News or Seeking Alpha. While I admit the article in Apple News is a limited snapshot, I feel it gives me the gist of the article, where as Seeking Alpha simply puts up a block from allowing me to see only their wonderful deal of paying a small one time monthly fee with a reoccurring fee for subsequent months being 6 times higher. Everyone says Seeking Alpha is a great source of information, but from what I can see is it is simply an opinion base. Why would I want to pay &30+ a month for an opinion? I see lots of people writing articles on something they profess they don’t even own. Some are cautionary tales, while others support buying a company, yet even when these people say a company is a strong buy rating, they always say I don’t own this company. Sounds kind of fishy when they promote a great deal and are lacking the confidence in buying the product themselves.
