This used to be my favorite app for news on my favorite fandoms. It’s cool that it combines sports with entertainment so I can get everything from one place. It wasn’t working for a while but it seems like it is getting supported again. I am getting timely notifications on my Chiefs and on the final season of Stranger Things! Whoever fixed this, thanks you! I’m now reading daily.
Really sad - destroyed experience through forced video ad play

This is not going to end well. I’ve had this app on my phone for well over a year (the space is confusing - so many sources, such weird naming and bundling - I am not really sure how long exactly) now they have chosen to force me to play video ads with the volume up before I can view the content. No. Freaking. Way. Not only is the app getting deleted, but how will they ever get me back? An ad campaign to let me now they‘ve understood their mistake and changed their ways? Seriously bad business move everybody. Maybe have your writers tweet about it if you change your minds.

I love that I can pick out specific teams and leagues and the app gives me only the ones I selected in my favorites. It’s constantly updated with new content, and the content isn’t just news bites. It is spun forward with commentary about why fans should care about each topic. This isn’t your average sports “news” app!

For an app that brings news to your device, the notifications DO NOT work. In a day in age where most people are already flooded with information on their devices, making time in one’s day to remember to check FanSided for news (some of which already becomes outdated by the time you remember to manual check for it), is just not excusable. I originally thought it was just me, but based on other reviews I’m seeing, this is common and it’s either happening for a lot of people, or everyone.Developer: Please fix this, and until you do, you’ve lost a regular user/reader
