What Happened!?!

I have used this app for YEARS, and have been such an advocate of it. However, I was forced to get a new phone last week, and now most of my stuff is gone!! So many years of entries. My dog is old and at the end of her life, and I have made so many entries over the years. It used to be a matter of logging in and downloading from the cloud — not anymore! It is asking me to pay a $4.99 subscription fee. I get apps need to make money, but as a long time user, I did know I was going to lose my stuff. Every single app wants a fee, and I cannot afford to do every single one! I particularly log when I groom and cut my dog’s nails, and I don’t even see that option within the app now. I’m so upset…I was looking for the info I had in there to bring to my vet appointment. I still love the app.

I had 6 years of weekly weigh in data for 3 cats and 9 months of daily weigh in data for 2 cats. I contacted the developers of 3 pet data apps to see if their app could import that data from a csv or excel file. This app was the only one who replied and while the app couldn’t import it, they offered to do so over the web access portal. Absolutely awesome. Now I have all my cats’ weights over time in an app that is meant for them. I love the weight chart and the little up/down/same symbols for each entry. I had to be told “Admin” was the same as the “settings” I was looking for but once there I was able to change it to 2 decimal places and lbs. If I was to improve the app I would make it so on the pets page, tapping the pet would bring you to all the medical records and places to enter them vs going to the medical record you want to add (like weight) and tapping the pet there, but that is just the way my mind works. The app is perfectly fine the way it is—just a little hard for me personally to wrap my mind around it. PS. This is the first app I’ve ever written a review for. I was that impressed by the service.

I love this app -- it's the best of the 3 or 4 I've tried. It gets a solid 4 stars, as it still needs some tweaking. Keep up the great work and improvements!Here is some feedback:- Copy entry: for those who have multiple pets, it would be nice to enter something (vaccinations, etc) once, and then copy and add to another pet. Or, as another reviewer has suggested, add the entry, then add the pets that it applies to. - Consolidate records: it gets tiresome and confusing to enter multiple items for the same visit. Would help to be able to add everything done during a visit into the same entry, e.g., Clinic Visit: Physical Exam + Fecal exam + Deworming + Vaccination. - Should have specific categories for prevention meds: heartworm and flea/tick meds. I can appreciate how much work has gone into this app, and I'm confident that it will continue to improve. It's well worth the price, esp compared to some of the terrible apps in this category.

Navigation is cluttered and user interface needs help

I’ve been using the app for a few months. I like the idea of having all of my pets’ information in one place, but I find the app difficult to navigate and the user interface could be much more intuitive.The Home screen is especially confusing. I would prefer the first thing I see to be my pets’ photos so I can choose a pet, along with a clear calendar/reminders section showing upcoming nail trims, annual exams, vaccinations, flea treatments, medications, etc. The current “Highlights” section isn’t very useful to me and takes up a lot of space.The My Pets page also feels small and visually cluttered. I would like larger pet photos and an easier way to select a pet and immediately see that pet’s records, reminders and upcoming care.The Medical section has useful categories, but some common things are difficult to find. For example, I had trouble figuring out where to enter flea prevention or nail trims. I also don’t see an obvious Grooming category for things such as nail trims or grooming appointments. The weight/body measurements tracker is useful, but I have to scroll quite far down to find it. I would prefer to have all of that much easier to find somewhere at the top.Calendar reminders and tracking past and future appointments are important to me and being able to see when the next nail trim or annual visit is due.The Prepare Vet Visit feature is a good idea, but I would like more flexibility. The preset questions don’t necessarily match what I need, and I would prefer to be able to easily create my own questions and choose exactly which information to include.Overall, the app has a lot of useful features, but the organization and navigation need improvement. I’ll continue using it because I like having my pets’ records and reminders together, and I hope the interface becomes simpler and more customizable.

We have made My Pet even better! This update adds a new chronic disease tracking module, along with interface improvements and bug fixes for a smoother experience. Enjoy!
