HOW TO CONNECT YOUR INNER BALANCE APP TO THE SENSOR
Inner Balance Bluetooth Sensor:
1. Clip the sensor to your earlobe and press the soft button on the sensor pod to activate a blue flashing light.
2. Open the Inner Balance app and press the “Start” arrow to make the app start scanning for the sensor.
3. Once you see your sensor ID number displayed and verify that it matches the number on the back side of the sensor pod, tap it to accept and wait 15-20 seconds for the device to calibrate and begin the first session.
Inner Balance Lightning Sensor:
1. Clip the sensor to your earlobe and press the soft button on the sensor pod to activate a blue flashing light.
2. Open the Inner Balance app and press the “Start” arrow to make the app start scanning for the sensor.

I’m a Christian and years ago I was a bit hesitant to to start heart math if I had to open myself to any new age kind of meditation. I had stopped for a long time and than picked it back up about a year and a half ago with the easier monitor on my phone. I have put my thoughts during heart math framed into the Bible verse Philippians 4:6-8 that talks about where our thoughts should be...”whatever is true...honorable...lovely...pure...whatever is excellent and worthy of praise, think about these things...practice these things and the God of peace will be with you.”This has become my habit with heart math and I have seen a clear difference in fixing my thoughts and even my prayers with God in this way. Not to just cast my anxieties to him(I actually don’t use this particular time for those kind of prayers), but to remember his goodness and how he is working and how he keeps and has kept his promises to give wisdom as in James 1:5-8 or any other promises that come to mind. One of the most common verses that runs through my mind and heart during heart math is “You are good and your love endures forever” (sometimes just becomes abbreviated to “you are good” or even just “good”) that thought alone can keep me calm and at peace as I am still before him. This proven by my heart rate’s even pacing I am viewing on the heart math screen. The monitor gives a peek into what is going on with our physical and emotional body as well as an opportunity to improve it as we are being still before the Lord, fixing our eyes on him in thanksgiving.

I have been into meditation for a long time but also have a skeptical side always wondering whether or not I’m doing it right or improving. This takes care of both!!! Like the saying goes “you can’t improve what you don’t measure” I have come to learn of HMI inner balance in a Dr. Joe Advanced workshop. It’s amazing the confidence to know you’re in brain and heart coherence when you’re doing the work. And it’s most definitely a muscle and a skill. I slip into coherence almost right away and in relatively high coherence compared to when I started. So the more you practice the stronger your coherence muscle will be and the more you move into training the body to live in coherence most of the day. It’s important to find the sweet spot of the amount of time you’re comfortable with whether 10, 15, 20 or 30 min and make it into a habit. It’s important to train this muscle everyday. The benefits are amazing from resilience, to promoting youth and vitality through simulating the thymus gland, to increased intuition and enhanced creativity, focus and awareness. This might be too good to be true but sadly this is our natural state when we are not driven by stress. This is how we were meant to live. In balance and harmony with our body and the world. And this device is among my most valuable possessions. What it helps us cultivate within ourselves is priceless and can be life changing. I’ve had mine for years. For anyone who thinks they "can't do this," they're "too stressed," "too unbalanced," "too high strung," "too [fill in the blank]"...I say this: You Are, I Am, We Are One. You CAN do this. You MUST do this. Cultivating coherence is the single-most impactful action you can take to improve your life and our world. I want to share my experience this morning during my Sacred Solitude Nature Communion time at the ocean. First, a coherence score of 1 puts you in the green coherence zone. With that piece of background knowledge, you now know everything you need to know to understand the impact of what I'm about to share. I woke up this morning apparently tuned in to the world's grief. I am what some might call a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). But I can tell you, it goes much deeper than that. No need to delve too deeply into that, though, to make my point. I want you to know that even though I ended up with tears streaming down my face during my Inner Balance coherence breathing this morning, I was 98% in the green zone, consistently attaining scores of 5 to 7+. I am balanced. I am in coherence. I am aligned. I'm telling you... no matter who you are... no matter how "far gone" you might think you are... no matter how badly the world has "messed with you," you CAN do this. Indeed, you must do this.

I have been meditating in one tradition or another for many years. I think there is value, insight, love and awareness that can be gained from them all. I have recently been immersed in Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work and find it to be the most actually transformative practice I have ever come across. He has a collaborative relationship with the HeartMath Institute doing research into heart coherence. I decided to go deeper into the heart coherence idea with this app and the accompanying physical device, mainly to see if I could get some actual data to back up the amazing experiences I was feeling in my mind and body. I wanted to see if I was actually doing the meditations it “right.” Turns out I was for sure, but the unbelievable part about this heart coherence system is that it helps you dial in your meditative mind exceptionally fast and keeps you focused with immediate feedback if you start to wander. I mean, it is like blinders for a galloping horse, it keeps your mind focused straight ahead. I have never come across anything that trains my mind to stay focused like this. Within a fraction of a second, if a stray thought or emotion begins to grab your attention, the app signals you that you are not in coherence. It becomes really fun to see how long you can stay in the sweet spot. If I had had this tool 20 years ago I’m quite sure I’d be enlightened by now. Seriously, if you meditate or want to learn, GET THIS SYSTEM. It will meet you and your practice wherever you are - from beginner to highly experienced meditator - and very, very quickly elevate your ability to focus your mind and open your heart on a level I promise you you didn’t know was available to you. I never endorse anything, but I want the whole world to have this system. We’d all be much better off. Namaste!
