The normal effective interest rate ranges from 21% to 25% per year, and the payment term from 12 to 60 months. Example: The installment of approval credit line 30,000 Baht with 24 months repayment term and 25% interest rate charge is 1,602 bath per month (including principal and interest). In the case of completing a 24-month installment contract, the total principal amount is 30,000 baht and the total interest is 8,422 baht, resulting in a total payment of 38,422 baht over the contract period. Remark: Estimated interest rate charge. The total interest rate charged will depend on repayment behavior of each customer.

More ignorant & misguided “security”

Note to decision makers at this app and other Thai banking apps: forcing users to turn off their VPN before they can access their mobile banking app does not improve security. Please take the time to actually think through these backwards decisions before making them. Nobody can pretend to be someone else by using a VPN. VPNs safeguard users’ online activity by providing encrypted tunnels that prevent data leakage which CAN be used to compromise a user’s security, and which you are now directly enabling via this nonsensical requirement.Beyond that this app has poor UI design that clearly nobody is working on (even the smallest things like giving the bottom tab bar proper padding so it isnt’s overlapped by the iOS home bar) as I’ve been using it for 2+ years with 0 changes. 0 stars.

The fact that this app becomes unusable every night for maintenance and needs to be completely off-line is just unimaginable and 2025. Especially for a bank. I would guess the developer only keeps their job because of some personal connection. It’s incredible that an app for a major corporation is still using 15-year-old technology and logic. The fact that your app becomes unusable every night for maintenance is proof of this. Your customers deserve better. I better user experience, better security, and a better app altogether. This app would have been old and outdated 10 years ago.

Can’t use VPN!!

It is mind-boggling that this bank app can’t work on a wifi network, but worse is that it won’t allow protected connections using VPN. Seriously makes using the app an invitation for compromising your data and privacy….so useless. Now trying to find a more tech savvy Thai bank that has thought through customer access via wifi and allowing VPN secure connections…..but not hopeful. Krungsri clearly has not….a shame really. They should not closedown their web browser app, it works in wifi and with VPN.
