I use this app every day at work. The great thing is that you can take photographs, and they automatically used to say a third of the space or whatever size you choose. What I use it for is for photographing vehicle images that I post online from my work. When the iPhone captures the image it’s way too large for the storage site I use to store the images to use for later use. Being able to automatically have it shrunk to a smaller size saves me the hassle of having to cut down the image individually and it saves space on my phone when I delete the larger images that I don’t need. I’ve been using this app for probably 9 or 10 years. The biggest problem is that recently. I can no longer take photographs inside the app. I can use it to shrink the images later, which I have to do one by one and I still do because it’s so necessary for me. so, it ends up taking me two or three times longer than it needs to because this app needs an update. I’ve tried three or four similar sounding apps and none of them work as good as this one does and especially as good as it did. Please take some time to update this app so it can be used like it used to be used. I wouldn’t even mind if you charge an upgrade to get the new app or version. I think people that use this app would be happy to pay a few more dollars or more because it’s that helpful.Thank you in advance, and please let us know if you can work on this. I rated the app 4 stars only because of this inconvenience with the recent functionality, but it’s been a five star app for many years for me!

Have used Minima as my go to size reducer for some time. It's the best I've found. The new video feature works perfectly. They also provide excellent customer service when contacted. Highly recommended.
New revision is a step backwards

This was a great app for taking quick pics at a small size. New revision has too many hoops to jump through to just take a quick pic. And,…camera tool crashes. I’m out.
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Failing in-app purchases fixed. Please tap the "Restore Purchases" button on the Preferences page to gain access to the features you've paid. Don't worry, simply use the same AppleID when restoring purchases and you won't be charged twice.
In the previous versions we added:
• Make square! Automatically & elegantly square the image, so you can share the entire image to any social media without cropping.
• And now you can resize your videos with Minima too!
Sharing videos has never been so fast. Save your disk space by compressing the file size of your videos. And thank Minima later. This feature requires in-app purchase that is currently at discounted price.
