About Lexia Core5 Reading:
Personalized. Powerful. Proven. Built on the science of reading, Lexia Core5 Reading accelerates the development of literacy skills for students of all abilities in grades preK–5, helping them make that critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn. Based on performance on a research-validated, adaptive auto-placement, students begin Core5 at the level that's just right for them. From there, Core5 seamlessly adapts with student performance, targets skill gaps as they emerge, and equips educators with the data and instructional resources they need to personalize instruction for every student.
The adaptive blended learning structure embedded in Core5 provides an explicit, systematic, personalized approach to reading instruction. The program is organized around six critical areas of reading:
• Phonological Awareness
• Phonics, Structural Analysis
• Automaticity/Fluency
• Vocabulary
• Comprehension
Based on student performance, Lexia's Embedded Assessment technology provides teachers and administrators real-time progress monitoring data—without stopping classroom instruction to give a test—saving up to a month of instructional time by
• identifying student risk levels
• predicting future performance
• prescribing instructional intensity
• providing real-time data and action plans
Within the first month of use, teachers will know each student's probability of meeting end-of-year, grade-level benchmark, and will receive the recommended resources and intensity of instruction necessary to improve students’ learning trajectory. In just minutes, administrators can see a full picture of academic progress across a district, school, grade, and class, down to the individual student, through easy-to-interpret, actionable reports.

when I get a question wrong, it literally yaps 24/7 like I literally just got one wrong . Just say you got it wrong and I was like redo another question similar like I don’t care and plus isn’t there like a better way of teaching no offense and plus this app is kind of annoying. I wanted to just use it on Safari but then it said you had to download it like that’s annoying and plus I don’t like that you have to type in your teachers email and your student ID and stuff like that bro and plus to be honest, I do not want to lexia anymore. I don’t like that you have to do 40 minutes a week. Like isn’t 20 minutes already enough I mean it’s kind of useful for like learning reading but like I actually just don’t like doing it but to be honest, I feel like 30 minutes a week is already OK. And plus when you first started, you have to take like a test right? I got like a few questions wrong because like I didn’t hear it correctly or something and I wasn’t like there I was using the bathroom and I just clicked random answers and bro it doesn’t even teach me by correct grade level just because I got a few questions wrong it should be like Choose our grade level not taking a test to see what grade level. What is wrong with this app? I don’t like doing it and plus it’s boring and also I know it’s like a learning app so you can learn why is there so many parts of one level I just finished part one of level 18 and it says you have to finish part two of this level like seriously nobody cares. And it takes forever to finish a level and to do a lesson like my literal teacher can teach faster than this lexia app. ok but seriously. Can’t the placement test is horrible can’t our teacher chose our grade level?

Hi, I’m in fifth grade and I strongly believe that this app doesn’t help kids at any age learn at all. First of all there are a LOT of glitches........I want to say I have most likely have been using this for school sense the year it came out and I seriously think that schools are wasting Money on this. This doesn’t help us learn anything new and me and many others in my class have disabilities. A couple people In my class have problems reading and it’s so hard to do lexia. It stresses them and myself too out. I am very sensitive and I get pressured under time. There is a unit where you have to read a passage in under 2 minutes. I have had meltdowns over this and I think that for kids with disabilities this shouldn’t be an option for them. IF YOU ARE A TEACHER OR WORK FOR A SCHOOL TELL THEM THIS IS NOT WORTH IT!!!! My school spends like what 300 dollars a year for this? And I’m talking about a small private school. I don’t understand why those stupid Karens that say “this is helping the kids” nah......just no a waste of money..... also to the people who say that this is a “game” please understand that schools are paying for this piece of crap..... the only good thing about this app is the layout. As someone who takes programming/coding class I think that this app is nice looking but very slow and glitchy. The only other thing I like is the use of cultures. I think it’s so kind that you get to “travel” around the world and read stories about these places. I wish there was an option to give this app 0 stars because I generally think that this is ruining kids life by schools making this not an optional thing. And if the developers are reading this.........I like freckle better dumbos
What horrible
plays roblox and among us
Wouldn’t say that it’s that good. To me lexia is my least favorite school apps it’s easy it’s frustrating what I hate is there 2 section for each level there waaaaayyyyyy to long I would say it’s one strar it deserves on star fixing theses things like shorter levels no bugs no glitches and for one part is whenever you get a question wrong you go to answer me easy questions that takes like five minutes because there’s so many so I would play this more if that would be fixed and you can choose if you need help or you do not need help you’d get better reviews if these things are fixed and make it harder because I’ve seen a lot of reviews about that in me too I do this for school and it’s my least favorite app so I’m gonna say that it’s that good I like other apps and this and some people seem right through it but I’m still stuck on level 11 because there’s so much work to do and I barely do because it’s not fun you need more of the motivation into it and make it harder thank you if you fix it
