Autism iHelp is a vocabulary teaching aid developed by parents of a child with Autism and a speech-language pathologist. Autism iHelp was inspired by the need for specific language intervention tools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder focusing on their unique strengths and difficulty with expressive vocabulary. Autism iHelp SAME and DIFFERENT targets fundamental vocabulary building concepts in a variety of formats. While utilizing real-life photographs, this app requires the learner to demonstrate discrimination skills in addition to direct and indirect matching. These skills are crucial for receptive and expressive language as it relates to comparing and contrasting concepts, as well as aiding in just noticing environmental changes. The three games that are included in this app are: finding a matching picture, finding a shadow that matches the picture, and finding the one that is different in a field of 4. Additionally, you are able to track your child's gains through progress reports that average the last 3 performances of each learning enhancement activity. “with Autism iHelp…..it gets better.”

Great app great intervention!
Good for an SLP to observe student's answer choices. However, to compete with other apps, needs to upgrade ASP. Would really like this app to engage the student at various levels, collect data, generate a report to email. In our data driven world these features are most appealing in an app.

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. Minor bug fixes.
