Simple, fast and easy to navigate. The local reporters also tend to be less biased politically than the other network affiliates. More facts, less emotional buzzwords and party talking points.
Poor use of notifications

This app continually sends notifications labeled as “breaking news” for non-important and out of market stories. Also, opting out of sports notifications does not stop notification of sports scores and stories. The app itself is also very glitchy, even on late model devices. As one of only a few local news stations in Lubbock, they should do better.UPDATE: They blocked me on Facebook after leaving this review.

There are literally so many ads going on in this app that it lags even my iPhone 13 Pro. I understand there are costs to offset but when you degrade the performance of your app for them you’re doing it wrong.
We've fixed some bugs and improved general performance.
