So ive played this game 2 diff times the first time i had forgotten about until i started playing it again, First let me start by saying what gives this game 5 stars is that its exactly like the ad for it depicts, so many game ads are usually false advertising an never really what the ad shows an if it is its only a very small part of game play, this game is must like it shows in the ad and it can be quite addicting, you dont get bombarded with ads in order to play you just need time an patience. As i began playing a 2nd time I remembered why i stopped playing the first time. All the work you do just to get the reactor fixed so you can explore other worlds and guess what other worlds is not available it says exploring other worlds will be available in the future, well it was years ago when i first started to play this thats why i stopped, all that work to unlock other worlds just to find out its not really unlocked, and its been yrs. Now so this time i played longer I’ve successfully gotten the reactor to work several times but exploring other worlds is still to come in the future, well how much longer in the future is it, are you ever goanna be able to explore other worlds or not cuz ive almost completed all the upgrades there is the last bit that are left will take so long to do for the amount of things i need to collect to do so that it seems like pointless busy work to distract from the fact opening a portal and exploring other worlds will never happen. So my question is this will you ever or can you even create other worlds to explore or am i stuck in this half rockish half ice world for ever.

Fun, could be better, a little misleading

No ads!! I’ve never been interrupted by an ad, and in turn that makes me much more willing to spend time, and eventually maybe even money, on this game— more developers need to understand this basic yet crucial fact! Treat your players well, and they will be more incentivized to pay anyways to support you! The gameplay is fun and intuitive, and it’s satisfying to quickly progress. However, that progression soon hits a massive wall unless you do pay, which heavily discouraged me from doing so. Without in app purchases, it will take you weeks or even months of daily play to reach anything close to the screenshots provided in the App Store. I’ve only just reached the frozen section and can barely progress, let alone any of the alien advancements pictured like claws or spiked tentacles. While at first blush this seems like the sort of honest game we’re severely lacking in 2024, it slows progress to a choke point where it seems payment was the intention regardless. It’s demotivating, and I’ve considered uninstalling the app due to said lack of progress. I would appreciate it if the developers perhaps expanded opportunities for collecting materials faster at this later stage of the game? Upgrade costs scale rapidly, while the minor enhancements they provide do not, making gameplay unsatisfying. Early game felt like a rewarding grind, while the later stages feel more like trying to 100% Dark Souls.

Ten tentacle chief
Enjoy the game. I have been playing off/on , daily, weekends for close to a year. I see a few things that could improve but doesn’t take away from the total experience. I have so many blue eggs that I keep on hoarding. Wont waste purple or red gems (color slips mind as type review) in winter area to make the mine yield more.. Home base has an option to trade for meat but can only do 1 at a time. Not interested in tapping the screen 200,000+ times to exchange for meat . Although all that meat would be helpful… Once advance into winter area and upgrade skills -the exchange , mines and pretty the whole region becomes useless besides the 2 humans can collect gems from.. now I’m kind of at crossroads as well because takes so many of the winter area yellow and silver gems to unlock more humans. The portal option has always been a interesting what’s next. I haven’t leveled it up 100% but got lucky to get green lights all the way through so portal is open but no option to advance . So wondering when ? I’m going to cancel subscription even though no ads and rewards have been so wonderful but also the catalyst to be maxed out . Thanks and 100% recommend all to play game.

Lost some progress

I really enjoyed this game, I feel like it’s not like the others. Even though it plays just like all the other generic farming/idle games, this one isn’t as easy as the others and it doesn’t feel like you’re constantly speedrunning through the game. It takes me some time to get to the next zone and while doing so, farming up isn’t instantaneous like some other games I’ve played. You’ve got to work for progress which is something I really like about this game. Even though it takes a while to get further and further, it doesn’t seem impossible and I feel good that I don’t feel the need to top up. Basically what I’m trying to say is, I believe this game is balanced really well. Now, the reason I’m writing this review is because I’ve been playing for a couple days now and would spend a lot of time during my mornings playing this game. I got decently far and unlocked a couple of zones. I was really enjoying it. I logged off for the night and came back to some changes. The game had just updated while I was gone and I noticed that it changed because some of the models were different. Then I realized that some of the zones I had previously unlocked were now locked again. And a lot of my upgrades had downgraded so I was now farming at a much slower rate. While I really like this game, it was very discouraging to see that a good bit of my progress had been undone. But it’s okay, I’m still probably going to play it regardless, but it just really irked me and I hope that they change it so that doesn’t happen to anyone else.
