Bug fixes and stability improvements. Fixed a sync issue that caused crashes on first launch for some users (thanks for the crash reports that helped track it down) plus a few minor items.

Onboarding is now 5 steps instead of 8. Shorter and faster to complete. Browse views have a new toggle to show or hide template and screen images. The setting persists in app settings on fresh load. Template placeholders now use your accent color. The original asset is still available via a toggle in settings if you miss the old way. Accent color now propagates correctly across all three tabs and in both light and dark mode. Added reMarkable Paper Pure to the device list. Based on specs rather than testing, so every device-specific section includes a link to reach out if anything looks off. Updated App Store screenshots and removed the outdated video. Also fixed several smaller issues in the app including SVG orientation, subscription button behavior, and filtering memory within a session.

Fixed an issue where uploading or downloading a single sleep screen wasn't working as expected. Also includes a handful of small polish improvements made over the past few weeks.

Fixed an issue where PNG images imported from files could appear sideways on your reMarkable due to hidden rotation metadata. The app now detects and corrects this automatically. Also includes minor internal fixes.

This is a small follow-up that Improves reliability of the "Disable Overlay" button introduced in the last update. This insures the change applies correctly even if the device was previously in read-only mode.

New: Control the rotating sleep screen overlay (Paper Pro devices) This update adds built-in tools to manage the rotating system illustrations that can appear on top of your sleep screen on supported reMarkable devices. • Disable the overlay so your custom sleep screen stays fully visible • Restore the default behavior at any time • Check whether the overlay is currently enabled (no changes made) These tools are safe to use and won’t replace or reset your actual sleep screen image. On devices that don’t support this feature, nothing will change. As always, this update focuses on keeping customization reliable as reMarkable evolves.

A smarter Upload button now protects your built-in reMarkable templates by staying locked until you successfully import or sync once. You’ll also notice clearer alerts across the app to make template and screen management simpler and safer.

This update fine-tunes template sizing for the reMarkable Paper Pro Move ensuring your templates display correctly on-device using the new dimensions 814 × 1454 px. Screen images and other reMarkable models remain unchanged. If your templates looked off before try resizing them and see how they look! And thank you for the feedback that helped uncover this issue as it truly makes the app better for everyone.

Fixed a bug where the "Update Name on Device" button wasn’t responding on the template’s edit screen (thanks for emailing it in!). While fixing that I made the process clearer by showing both the expected template name and the behind-the-scenes filename used on your reMarkable.

Fixed a critical bug where selecting an image from the Photo Library could cause the sheet to repeatedly reopen on iOS and iPadOS if permissions hadn’t yet been granted. This fix prevents the app from locking up and requiring a force quit. As part of the fix, Photo Library support is now available on Mac Catalyst. Also confirmed full compatibility with the reMarkable 3.20 beta on Paper Pro... no issues found.

Fixed issue adding new template from the browse view. Took the opportunity to add the ability to set/change the default category of any newly created template.
