New: measurable habits. Count reps, log liters or pages, and watch every tile fill in. Plus quit habits with daily limits.
Big life changes do not start big. They start with one small habit, done today, done again tomorrow. HabitKit turns those daily wins into a colorful grid of tiles, one square for every day you show up, so you can finally see yourself becoming the person you want to be.
That visible progress is the whole secret behind HabitKit, a beautifully simple habit tracker. When your grid looks this good, you will not want to stop. Fill the tiles, protect your streak, and let consistency do the heavy lifting.
Whether you want to work out more, read every night, meditate, drink more water, save money, or finally quit smoking, HabitKit gives every goal the same simple loop: do it, log it, watch the grid grow. No guilt trips, just daily habit tracking that feels rewarding.
BUILD GOOD HABITS, QUIT BAD ONES
Create the habits you want to grow, or flip it around and quit a habit: every day counts as clean until you log a slip, and your streak counts your clean days in a row. You can even set a daily maximum, like two coffees a day, and simply stay under it instead of going cold turkey.
TRACK YOUR HABITS YOUR WAY
Check a day off with a simple yes or no, count reps like glasses or pages, or measure amounts with your own unit, like 2 L of water or 7.5 km of running. Set daily goals and flexible schedules that fit your routine: every day, specific intervals, or a number of times per week or month.
YOUR PROGRESS AT A GLANCE
Every habit gets its own tile grid, like a contribution graph, and every completed day fills in a square. See all your habits together on one dashboard, switch between Classic, Compact, and Split views, and share a beautiful snapshot of your progress when you hit a milestone. One glance tells you the whole story: what you did, what you missed, and how far you have come.
WIDGETS FOR YOUR HOME SCREEN
Put your favorite habits right on your home screen with small, medium, and multi-habit widgets. Your grids stay in sight, so your goals stay on your mind. Widgets follow your theme too, all the way to pure black dark mode.
REMINDERS AT THE RIGHT TIME
Get a friendly nudge exactly when you need it, and never forget a habit again. Add a daily check-in to review your whole day, and with Pro, up to three reminders per habit.
STATISTICS, STREAKS, AND NOTES
Watch your current streak grow, chase your best streak, and set streak goals for extra motivation. Dive into completion statistics and monthly charts, manage past days in the calendar, and add a short note to any day: what went well, what got in the way.
MAKE IT YOURS
Give every habit its own color and icon, or use any emoji. Organize your dashboard with categories and filters, reorder everything with drag and drop, and pick light, dark, or system theme, including a pure black mode for OLED screens.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No sign-up. No ads. Your habit data stays on your device, and the app works completely offline.

I’ve tried a few habit apps, and absolutely love using this one so far. The user experience is extremely intuitive and easy to use, and has (almost) all the features I was looking for. Just as an example, the Shortcuts integration is great for me - I was able to integrate HabitKit into an existing Shortcut I was using for recording a daily journal, and so now recording one will also automatically mark the habit complete for the day too. The widgets are really nice too and improve the overall interaction. All that said, there are just a few additional features I’d like to see. First, a MacOS version of the app would be great, though I can confirm that it does work to install the iOS version. However, it would really be awesome if it could sync to iCloud both to make this actually usable, as well as to make it easy when you get a new device. There is an export / import feature for this but this would make it a lot. Lee seamless. Finally, it would be nice to have additional Shortcuts support - the ability to look at past completions / streaks, change completion for other dates, export / import from Shortcut, etc. With that list, why did I still give it 5 stars? Because even as-is it is incredibly useful and I would recommend it to everyone even without these features (though they would be great!)

Hey! Thanks for the awesome review and your feedback. Mac support and cross-device sync are on the roadmap!I really appreciate that you still rated it 5 stars even though it doesn't have every feature you wish for!
One of the best habit tracking apps - but NEEDS iOS Reminders integration and maybe APIs exposed ?

This is by far the most visually appealing app. I was actually going to develop my own app which was similar to this, where it had the altair heatmap chart. But this goes beyond my initial idea and also has step counts/tiered counting. Moreover, the ease of completing a task with a tap, setting of reminders, color coding and the availability to switch between three different views is exactly what I needed. This is way better than todoist, it is simple and intuitive. Most other apps have a lot of clutter and have too many details and clunky interfaces. One important feature that is missing though is its integration with Calendar and Reminders. Not just that, PLEASE expose APIs to interact with the data, this would have a limited use case, but still could be very useful. For example, one could ingest their daily step count and automatically mark a habit. Another example is that say if I want to block a particular app unless I do X, it could allow it to do so. Lets say that I have a habit like “no scrolling videos in the morning for 2 hours”, I should be able to enforce this and mark the habit only when certain conditions outside the app are met - I know this is a little outside the scope of this app and probably would fit into another “habit enforcer” app that could integrate with this, but in any case this requires REST APIs to be exposed. I would love to partner with the dev and work on this idea.
Great Simple App, Great Developer, Some Limitations

I really love how simple and easy this app is to use. The pricing is also extremely reasonable for $0.99 when most apps charge way more just for some basic functions. I think it would be great if we would were able to create our own account so we can sync progress across different devices. I have ADHD and this app really helps me stay motivated and manage my executive dysfunction because I have to gamify EVERYTHING just to do simple things. I like how we are able to select different days for when we want to track a habit, but I wish we could select different reminder times for different days as well under the same habit. Say you want to add a yoga habit for each day, but want reminders at 2:00pm on certain days and 3:00pm on other days for those with varying schedules. I also think sub-habit/task would be an interesting game changer. Say you’re trying to incorporate an entire morning routine habit, you can just label the habit morning routine, and you can click it to open, add a sub-habit/task, like make bed, brush teeth, do skin care, and once you check off all three of those things, it will complete that habit for the day. I feel like this would help with lessening the amount of habits you have to make when one habit can incorporate many things you want to do!

Hey there,Thank you so much for the awesome review and your feedback. I am currently working on a cross-device sync functionality and hope to release it this year!More reminder/notification configuration options are also on the roadmap and will be implemented with a future version of the app.Ultimately, some form of "categories" will come with the next big update, so very soon. Stay tuned for that. Thanks for the great points!
A Game Changer

I recently turned started using a minimalist phone setup to help me to be more productive. A key part of the design was adding HabitKit widgets to my home screen. It's very motivating to see your habit history packed into a beautiful little chart, with the ability to check off (or increment) habits without having to open the app. After making these changes to my phone, this past week has been the most productive week of my life, and I sincerely believe HabitKit has been the main reason for that. The support is also incredible. I reached out to the solo developer via email, asking him about 2 different features I was hoping he could add to the app. 2 days later, he got back to me, in a very friendly and well-thought-out email. In this email, he told me that he had already been working on adding the first feature, and the other had been added to his todo list. Given that he is a solo developer, and also working on another up-and-coming app at the same time, I'd say his support services are the best I've ever seen, from any app on the app store.
- Choose Yes/No, Count or Measure with decimals and custom units
- Change habit types without losing history or streaks
- At a Count goal above 1, tap to edit instead of clearing
- New iOS Shortcuts to log amounts and notes, get progress and open habits; translated labels and clearer quit-habit behavior
- Fixed over-goal Shortcuts progress; more reliable imports, backups and purchases
