TL;DR - the app is incredible. Completely free, no microtransactions or pitfalls, and is super user friendly!I first heard of this app’s concept through a TikTok ad for a competing app, and thought it was great! But the other app required you to PAY to go through your own photos. You could only go through one month at a time, and had to wait 8 hours between them, or you could pay a monthly fee to go through them all.Once I had enough, I decided to delete it and look for an alternative. That’s when I stumbled across this app! Slider took all the great parts of its competitors, and removed all the bad ones. The first thing I noticed: there are NO microtransactions. There’s not even an OPTION to pay for anything! You can go though all your photos, one by one, all in one sitting. Whether you have 8 pictures or 8,000 pictures, you can review them all! In addition, if you accidentally choose to delete a photo, you can undo your choice for completely free, as many times as you want. The app keeps track of which photos you’ve already reviewed, so next time you open it, you can pick up where you left off! And once you’ve reviewed them all, you can start all over again, or even sort the photos by date!Genuinely, I cannot recommend this app enough. The author created it for completely free and doesn’t even offer a way to be compensated. Believe me, if there was a donation page, I would absolutely send some money! Stop paying for apps that scam you, when this one does it bigger and better, for free!

Totally recommend this app! Unlike "swipewipe", you don't have to pay a subscription. I was just thinking this wouldn't work, but I underestimated it's capabilities. It actually deletes your photos! I just downloaded this, and it's fire! No wonder this is almost 5 stars! It is so easy! I saw the reviews for the swipewipe app, and I wanted an app like that but with no subscription. I focused on only this for half an hour, which is how much time it took me to write this review. To all of you reading this, GET RID OF SWIPEWIPE AND DOWNLOAD THIS INSTEAD!!!!! if your storage is full and it's because you have too many photos, delete some by hand and then you have enough space to download the app and it makes your life like 10 times easier.

First of all, major props for actually listening to and addressing criticism. The notification barrage seems to be gone. The deletion process requires one less tap (though I still seem to be getting a second pop-up, the same one, “Allow Slider to delete this photo?” with no actual picture being shown below; I suspect this is a bug). The slider watermark is far less intrusive, though obviously I would prefer it not to be there at all, same with the “this was shared used slider” text when sharing, but since this is a free app I get why it’s there and can’t exactly complain in good faith. However, I would still GREATLY prefer a watermark that sits *below* the picture (think iFunny) so I at least have the option to crop it out if I absolutely must. I am also glad you are working on ways to move photos in the iphone’s physical gallery (though frankly, even just having the option to re-save the image as-is would work equally well). Keep it up!

I usually don’t write reviews for apps but I’ll make an exception for this one. This app works perfectly and does exactly what it’s advertised to do! No ads, no pop ups, NOTHING! The UI is sooooo clean and the design is simple but elegant. If there was a way to donate to the developer, I would definitely do that. I absolutely LOVE this app. Since I enjoy taking numerous pictures wherever I go, this app helps me stay organized and manage my storage efficiently. A new feature you should consider adding to be able to find duplicate images and delete them. It would be a nice add-on to the app and would make the app even greater! Thank you Peter for the AMAZING app and I hope you’ll be able to create more apps like this. Keep it up!
