The app isn’t too bad I find it quite easy to use, only thing that seems like a hiccup was the most recent update seems to have removed the schedule by location which a lot of our team members used to see who they worked with on what days, now it only gives access to your own schedule and no way to see who else is scheduled with you. Please bring that back I don’t want to have to message every single team member to see who works when.

As an employee using woven the app’s geofencing function feels invasive and unnecessary. It turns my device into a constant tracker and undermines trust between staff and management.Location checks = surveillance geofencing may be presented as a way to verify clock ins but in practice it means my location is being checked constantly. Not just at punch time. This creates a feeling of being watched throughout my day. I’ve noticed even after clocking out this app tracks my location which is incredibly unsettling.There are not clear limits or literature as to see how long my location data is kept and to which “third parties” woven does business with. Less invasive options exist but woven could easily do QR check ins when arriving to work. I’ve had to leave my job along with 8 other employees because of this app. Hopefully others follow suit so woven fixes this issue.

Woven may be satisfactory for a business or management to use, however - it’s forced on employees as a means to check schedules and communications. This requires a download on the phone or daily check-in on a pc, usage of uncompensated data, direct and any-time access on or off the clock, and if any important communications or documents are passed through Woven, it’s on the employee to provide the materials, cost, and time to access it.Additionally, updates to Woven are aesthetic changes only. The function of the schedule aspect is insufferable and requires most users (staff) to write it out for clarity. Messages and communications can also be a struggle to navigate. The team deciding the layout and function of Woven are prioritizing all but the lower-level employee ease of use and access.Woven gets a one-star because of it’s blind spots on lower-level employee’s access and function - and the fact that it provides employers invasive and all-day access to employees. It’s ignorant to presume that employees in the USA can ignore or attend to work communications at their convenience. That’s not how things work in this country - there are always consequences. Do better.

I’ve tried to change my profile picture for the past week now but it keeps giving me an error saying “Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later”. It’s so annoying because I don’t like my previous picture. Moreover after contacting support, they asked me for the new picture I wanted to upload. After sending it to them they updated it but the picture is half way out of the frame. You can’t even see my face. I can’t delete the picture because each time I do, it comes back after refreshing the app. Please, can y’all fix this issue??
