I am in month 6 (Phase 2-3) and have had decent results after having to tweak a few things to accommodate diet and workout needs. But there are definitely flaws to this program that should be corrected to reflect the cost of a personal trainer and customized diet plan. The “app” used to create the monthly menus is frustrating between the grocery list of ingredients being listed in the wrong category or similar items such as beef being listed twice depending on the description, which forces extra time at the grocery store that defeats the purpose of a grocery list broken up by departments…Plus recipes do not have the basic “cookbook style” of ingredients being listed in the order used, and odd measurements such as 1/2 an egg. I find I need to send long, detailed messages to my coach, which if I leave my phone for a second, the draft doesn’t save and I have to start over. Also, there is nowhere to find the record of which supplements I’ve received as part of the plan or how many I have left. If I wasn’t already somewhat disciplined and determined to reach my goals, I wouldn’t have renewed again. The most helpful part of the program is the accountability and the basic starting place for the menu and exercises, even though most weeks I have to modify things. I do appreciate the breakdown of macros and calorie goals for when I actually have time to input everything into the MyFitness Pal app, but considering the cost of VShred VIP, that should be integrated.Obviously with the other issues adding one more thing would probably cause more problems. lol.Bottom line is I’m not saving the time that I was told made this program worth the cost, but since I am seeing results when I follow roughly 80%, I’ll keep at it through the end of my current phase.

I tried this program and it was very helpful due to health reasons it wasn’t for me. The people are very helpful and the people are nice. It just wasn’t for me. I can say that if you are consistent as they say at least 80 percent you will see results. I was on it for about 2 weeks solid but it was a lot for my body to handle all at one time as I do have seizures with the change in metabolism caused my body to be really tired lack of sleeping because I have 3 kids and no extra time to sleep when it’s needed caused me to have seizures. The diet didn’t cause it. But the fatigue from the diet did. If you can push though it for your body to acclimate I 100 percent recommend this diet. The diet itself is 2-3 months depending on the self dedication the money would be worth it. IT IS EXPENSIVE. They are knowledgeable and they do do payment plans. But no diet is cheap. And if you want results they do have science on their side. I also wish it was more interaction with the personal trainer because I could have expressed more if I felt more comfortable. yes it is an actual person yes communication is available but when doing the diet check ins and not mass check ins would have been easier to keep up and reminders. A little dedication and money will get you results. It just wasn’t for me because of my own medical issues. But I will say it is worth it if you are able to push through the changes from the diet like being fatigue im sure it does eventually go away when acclimated to the diet but personally my body couldn’t keep up with it.

Like the other reviews, this app has glitches. It crashes and restarts a lot. Also it would be more helpful and useful to have video workouts. I don’t know about you guys, but I like to listen to music while I workout and I can’t do both when using the app. I usually just open the app and while the timer is going I just use my fitness+ app and follow their workouts, which is nice because not only do they have the music which makes it more enjoyable, they also have more of a beginner friendly workout routine that I can handle until I get stronger.

The transition from what we were using before to this is a rough one. This app and the flow really need to be worked on. Technically I’m having an issue receiving alerts even though alerts are turned on I’m still not receiving audible alerts when messages from my trainer come across. I get emails and a pop up but I don’t constantly check emails or watch for silent pops to appear. Not being able to review the exercises prior to starting that days workout without the timer starting is also very awkward and makes it difficult to plan for the days workout. Not sure who tested this out before hand but it’s not working for me.
