BirdyChat – A chat app for work conversations
Work messages often end up in the apps we use with friends and family. BirdyChat gives work conversations a separate place.
With BirdyChat, you can:
- Message anyone using their work email. No phone numbers needed.
- Keep work and personal messages in separate apps.
- Talk with people outside your company: clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Message your WhatsApp contacts without leaving BirdyChat (available in the European Economic Area, where contacts have enabled third-party chats).
- Organize chats into lists by project or client, reply in threads, and snooze chats or mark them as done.
Tools like Slack and Teams are for conversations inside your company. BirdyChat is for conversations with the people outside it: clients, partners, and suppliers.
If you have used a personal chat app before, BirdyChat will feel familiar.

I have been waiting for ages for a chat app that I can use for work, and now it is here. More features need to come but this already is a great app!
- New attachment viewer for browsing files in a chat
- Ordered and numbered lists are now supported in the composer and messages
