STABILIZE, REBUILT A new engine end to end. It reads the shake more accurately, ignores whatever is moving through the frame while it measures, and smooths harder for the same amount of crop. - Tripod — hold the shot dead still, as if the phone had been on a tripod - The right strength is chosen for you when the screen opens, and you can hold the preview to compare it against your original - The tool is called Stabilize now, not Anti-Shake, and the tracking lane says Track TRACKING A major upgrade underneath: your tracked point holds where you put it on every single frame — at 60FPS, under a speed ramp, and in projects that mix frame rates. Tracking is better than it has ever been. KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL COLOR Shot HDR or Apple Log and tired of it coming out flattened? Export it the way you shot it — 10-bit and ungraded, ready to grade in Resolve or Final Cut. It lives under Color in Export Settings, and it wants a straight cut: one clip, no overlays, effects or captions. Standard stays the default for everything you post. AUTO CAPTIONS Tap Captions and the whole take is transcribed — on your phone, with no network and nothing uploaded. - Pick a look: Classic, Word Pop, Karaoke Fill, Bar, Beast, Two-Tone, Neon Glow - The spoken word lights up as it is said — in colour, a filled box, a pop or an underline - 1 word, 2-3 words, one line or two. Switch any time; it re-groups instantly and never transcribes twice - Edit every line in one place, and replace a mis-heard name through the whole take at once AUTO TRACK One tap on the button beside the trackers lane and every clip in the project gets steadied, then zoomed in to hide the black edges stabilizing leaves behind. It automatically picks the spot to lock onto in each clip. Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone.

Edit Photo. The editor now opens a still, not just a clip. The same 72 filters, color wheels, RGB and HSL curves, masks and Remove Background you use on video, on one picture — plus crop, straighten, rotate, aspect ratios and backgrounds. Text stays sharp at the photo's own resolution, a cutout can save as a transparent PNG, and the export goes out at full resolution. Text gets a Styles tab. Background, stroke, glow and shadow each get their own dials, and glow and shadow are independent now — so lettering can be neon and lift off the video at the same time. The composer previews on your actual footage instead of a dimmed copy of it. New: Masking. Drop a Linear or Radial mask on your clip to darken a sky or make your subject pop, then drag it right on the canvas to place it — move, resize, rotate, soften. Inside the mask: exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, saturation and a solid fill in any color. Stack as many as you want, invert any of them. Gradients and Vignette come back as one-tap versions of the same thing, and unlike before they hold still when the clip is stabilized. Also in this update: - Beat sync made easy: drag a clip edge, an effect or an overlay and it snaps to your beat marks - Transitions no longer flash dark in the middle of a cut.
