Another update: ok, yeah this game is horribly unbalanced. It takes a huge leap in difficulty just after mission 2.5. 2.6 is considerably more difficult, and 2.5.3 is RIDICULOUS, even after leveling up my 4 units to 20 (as far as they can go for now) and two of them being 5 stars. Update: played more, and it's still too easy. Allowing freely upgrading of units and equipment is part of the problem - really bugs me that so many games do this now. It ruins the balance and makes the game way too easy. If you're allowing it so newly acquired units can be brought up to the same level as the rest, either do it automatically or limit upgrading only to new units or any unit lower than the level of the highest (which can only be reached through gameplay). Lowering rating because of this. Too easy = boring.Overall well done. Different than their other Dead Ahead games, mainly in that it's turn based and fewer units in each battle.Finished the prologue, and so far it's been a bit too easy. But if it's like their other games, I expect it to ramp up in difficulty before long. Some interactive environmental objects would be good (traps, destructible barriers, etc), but maybe I just haven't come across them yet.
