I'm a huge fan of the TYB app and the concept behind it. It's such a fun and engaging way to discover new brands and products that I otherwise probably wouldn't have come across. I'm giving it five stars because I really do love the experience, but if I could give it 4.5, I would. My only issue is with the OBSESSIONS feature. I've been really excited to use it, but it just doesn't seem to work for me. I've made sure to follow all the steps, like using my coins for orders and ensuring my email address matches the one on my account, but that part of the app has never unlocked. It's a bit of a bummer since it seems like a core part of the experience, but otherwise, I think the app is fantastic and I'm always excited to see what's new, from various types of challenges from my fav brands to discovering new brands and products, etc. also, using the coins is THE BEST. Love this app.

I've been using TYB for several months now, and I joined because the app branded itself as a freebie app that allowed you to be rewarded while interacting directly with brands. The app has recently undergone a number of changes, each worse than the last, and the most recent change is the last straw for me. I'll shed some transparency myself that the app refuses to give its users. Before, you could cash out your earned coins from interacting with a brand and order with codes to take $s off and only have to pay shipping or a smaller amount of the cost. Some brands would even negate shipping costs entirely if the redeemed dollar amount brought you to net 0. It was worth enduring the buggy, poor app interface because it allowed me to stretch a dollar during times where money has grown tighter than ever.Recently, they have introduced brand rules where every brand requires a cart purchase minimum typically FAR above the redemption limit for a given brand. (for example, Glossier rolling out $59 cart minimum while the highest level 3 redemption maximum is $49. You are now required to spend at least $10 plus shipping where it used to be free.) It just feels pointless and careless to me, and I caution anyone away from the app for the time sink it is with very little reward. Sign up for a brand's emailing list or keep an eye on couponing websites instead, at this point you'll be getting the same deal for far less time and effort and without having to give free UCG/promotion to brands that they're disinclined to reward.

this app started out absolutely amazing and was something i constantly promoted! it was a great way to connect with brands and earn free products/money to buy products.unfortunately, the app has gone considerably downhill since the beginning. tyb promised us users that they would not be like crypto, but now the value of coins has significantly decreased!! they claimed that they would up total coin amounts you currently had in order to account for this but i and many other users are still at less than a third of the original amount of coins we had- some as bad as going from $100 worth to only $20. it is so incredibly frustrating to see what they said wouldnt happen happen, and while i completely understand that the team is small, it is almost impossible to get in contact with support. at this point they are not responding to anyone inquiring about major loss in coins. i wish i could say i still recommend this app but the fact that im creating and promoting and LOOSING compensation while i do so makes the app not even feel worthwhile anymore. i really hope they fix this eventually…
