Embark on a magical journey to save the forest from an ancient evil in this challenging auto-runner adventure. An ancient demon has risen and his vicious powers plagues the world. Forest spirits have awoken an archer from the past to save the day! The demon is always one step ahead and leaves a never ending trail of rock hard shards. You'll never know which shapes or forms you’ll meet next! Destroy or avoid them and you will hunt him down. In “A Kindling Forest” you play as our hero aided by forest spirits. Aim and shoot your way through five levels in this cute, average auto-runner. Beware! The arrows you collect along the way ARE the forest spirits. Use them wisely, they are your life count as well. Run out of arrows and you will perish. Use checkpoints to start over if you’ve learned a more efficient way to get through the various obstacles to pass. How to play: Your phone is divided into two areas. Jump and shoot by touching the screen. Get past the shards by aiming for their weak points in this fast-paced adventure! Grow new paths, teleport to new places, fly over clouds, jump over spiders, go through ruins, lava and so much more!

Polished and Challenging: Hoping for More to Come

Just finished playing the auto-runner shooting game, and I have to say, it’s both fun and challenging! The gameplay keeps you on your toes as you continuously move forward, dodging obstacles and taking down enemies. One of the standout features for me is the graphics adding a lot of character to the game world.The slow-motion effect during shooting is another highlight. It really adds a cinematic touch, making you feel like a total action hero as you take out enemies in style.However, the game does ramp up in difficulty pretty quickly. While the early levels are manageable and provide a good sense of progression, it shifts from easy to hard much faster than expected. This creates a steep challenge that keeps things exciting, but can also be a bit frustrating at times if you’re not prepared for the sudden spike in difficulty.Overall, it’s a great pick for fans of arrow-shooting action with some cool visuals and satisfying mechanics. Definitely worth playing if you’re up for the challenge!

I love this game, I can’t wait to see more! I have a mechanics question for the devs though: what is the point of shooting the targets and acorns if they just end up wasting your arrows/lives? are they meant to trip you up or is there a future mechanic that rewards you for them? genuine question as someone interested in game dev :)

If you hit the bullseye on a target, you’ll get 5 arrows back, so it can be a strategic way to restock if you’re accurate.As for the acorns, they help unlock paths or interactions that lead to more arrows or spirits, so while they might seem optional at first, they can be really valuable for exploration and resource gathering.Hope that clears things up, and thanks again for playing!
