Second request :-) when I first got this app the photography you used on the homepage used to be stunning uplifting peaceful, gorgeous, glorious. And no offense lately it seems like they are quite drab. sad unthoughtful. Perhaps I’m wrong and the only one that thinks this, but could you please mix in the ones from the beginning of my experience with your app over one year now. Much appreciated and I promise I’ll notice and thank you. Next time you ask me to write a review.

This app is amazing! I can read the Bible when I am on the road without having that feel you get when reading a book in the car that makes you feel sick for some odd reason.

In this version, the whole Bible lives inside the app. All six translations are there the moment you open it — nothing to download, nothing to wait for, and everything still works when you have no signal at all. There's a new Home that offers you one reading to begin with, nineteen reading plans you can keep at your own pace — each week holds two rest days, yours to spend as you like — and a gentler way to find a passage by simply describing it in your own words. As you read, you can highlight a verse, keep a note and save your place, and a widget will hold today's reading on your home screen. You can read in the dark now, choose a page colour that suits your eyes, and the app has been redrawn to sit properly on iPad. Listening keeps playing with the screen locked.
