I like the concept of making a huge zoom room for people to see each other while they study - like a virtual library. The experience has been pretty good for my first week, but I feel like the UI could get much better. You can’t see your following/follower on the mobile app. So it’s hard to quickly check which of your friends are online without manually typing their usernames in the focus rooms. If the UI feature to first show the following/followers on top when you open the focus room participant list (or even better, a separate tab within the participant list) can be added, it would immensely improve the user experience both on the web and mobile platforms.

This app helps me stay focused and motivated. It has timers for working time and breaks. You can interact with others around the world and find like minded people. If you are someone who struggles with working alone this is perfect for you. The only downside is because so many people are on camera at once everyone is muted. The only thing I’d change is add an option to work with less people and be able to hear others.

I love the app, I’ve been using StudyStream in general since last year, but the app is very helpful when I don’t want to lug my laptop around, but one thing that could be improved is allowing for horizontal camera on iPad! I’ve tried checking what it looks like with my camera but right now at least with the way the preview is right now, when my iPad is horizontal (which it usually is) it makes everything sideways, which is less than ideal when turning on my camera! If there is any way to fix this, id really appreciate it!

I’ve really enjoyed this app so far for building strong study habits. I use it for study motivation and to track my progress. I wish you could create your own room and share a link versus only the general channel options.
