I usually never read or give reviews for apps that I like, but I have been a user as well as a customer of Robin Hood and the Robin Hood credit card, and Robin Hood brokerage for quite some time now when the Robin Hood credit card came out I was a little bit nervous about the aspect of it based off of people‘s opinions on it, but I wanted to take the risk because I saw the benefit in having this card. The Robin Hood credit card is currently my favorite credit card to use and the customer service is fantastic. I appreciate the fast easy text message Between me the client and Robin Hood spokes people so I can get the help that I need. I also appreciate the fast points that are convertible to cash that I can then put into a high-yield savings account in my Robin Hood account. I am super excited about the upcoming features and one thing I do wish is that the logo was different than the Robin Hood app.
Early stages, no computer access just an app.

The banking app has great rewards, and an awesome interface with their brokerage services. It does all of the simple things better than most big banks. The drawbacks are when you need any support and specific documents. The fastest you can get through their customer service to the banking department is an hour (I’ve requested a call 3 times this week with the longest call being over 3 hours). That is quite unacceptable and easily fixed with a simple 1-5 selection choosing your department in advance. What needs to be incorporated is a web platform for banking history. When getting a mortgage you must show current account history which cannot be proved with screenshots on your phone. However print view on a computer is sufficient as it lists the URL in the footer. Giving customers access to their accounts on a computer would resolve all of my frustrations this week.I love robinhood and understand this is a developing software, but a lot of time was unnecessarily wasted this week on the phone being transferred around to wrong departments. Luke and Julie in banking were very helpful it just took way too long to get there through the cue.
Beware - can’t handle transactions

This has happened to me twice already. And you can’t get a customer service agent to save your life. Their transactions (payments and charges) get all screwed up and delayed and then they try to charge you a returned payment fee. What happened is, I made a payment (at least I thought I did) but it didn’t show as pending and nothing went through after like a week. And so I made a payment again and this time it went through and showed immediately, and so I figured I just hadn’t made the original payment that I thought I did. ONE WEEK AFTER that, they try to withdraw the original payment that you did actually make. And so I keep my accounts separate and allocated for certain things so then it bounced back and they charged me a fee. This happened twice so far that they try to withdraw the initial payment so late that I didn’t think I actually paid and I end up paying again. And then they will put a hold on your card because of said payment so your available credit is a lot less than it should be. This is the most amateur thing I’ve ever seen. Oh and there’s no customer service whatsoever. Only texting no phone calls.
Works great for us Blind users now!

A while back, I contacted customer service after getting this card. I am totally blind and use the iPhone with voiceover. I got a very friendly call back very quickly and a promise that it would be addressed right away. The problem was that voiceover on the iPhone was not working with this app. So I had a card that was great that I couldn’t use or Monitor. So, I waited a while, and then all of a sudden it started to work! The work that they’ve done as surpassed my expectations, while they have a small couple of corner places to still fix, the app is great! Thank you so much for listening to your Blind customers. We appreciate you and I will be letting anyone in my community know that Robin Hood cares about accessibility and it’s visually impaired consumers. Thanks again! Oh yes, and the 3% really helps! ;-)
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
