more I like the app a lot, but either I'm confused or it is missing a critical feature: notifications! I expected the app to send me a notification when there was an advisory or warning, but apparently you have to go into the app and check proactively. If notifications were added, this would be a great app but until then I need to rely on other apps that provide warnings via the iOS notification system.

Flash Weather Ai has quickly become my go-to weather app. What sets it apart is the incredible level of detail it provides, everything from lightning forecasting and real-time radar to dew points, seasonal trends, and hyper-local forecasts that actually matter throughout the week. Whether I’m planning for the weekend, preparing for severe weather, or just tracking subtle changes in conditions season to season, this app delivers exactly what I need. The interface is clean, fast, and intuitive, and the forecasting tools are surprisingly accurate and in-depth. Highly recommended!

This app is unique in the lightning app area. I like the chart layout showing colored indicators of threat of lighting in set distance. What will set this app apart from other would be to have a lightning counter on each distance demarcation. Add in the trend rate (increasing / decreasing) would be amazing to see as this will allow a person to determine threat levels at each distance level indicated on the Y axis.

This app is fantastic, it shows the location of where lighting is, when it is, and a timer for when it’s safe to go back outside, however I’ve noticed that the app crashes every time I open it, it didn’t used to do this, hopefully it can get fixed because other than that, it’s a fantastic app.
