I’m a 57 y/o male who is overweight due to mobility issues and multiple surgeries to repair what’s been broken. I still struggle with a back injury that makes some days unbearable. I just completed Day 3’s workout and to be honest I didn’t think I was going to do it. After Day 2’s workout, my left shoulder and upper arm were hurting. But, I promised myself and my family that if I got this program, I would stick with it. This was a birthday present for me. Some of the exercises in Day 3 seemed to be tailored to helping me work out the soreness and yes, my shoulder does not hurt even a tenth of what it did before starting Day 3. Fingers crossed that I keep going and this program helps with my back injury. If I can get to the point of being able to walk without pain and can incorporate walking a few miles in to my weekly routine, then maybe I can start shedding some weight.

Views are inconsistent and rhythms change

In watching the AI person demonstrate the exercise, I notice that the rhythm of the exercises changes on many of the exercises when the view changes. Also, one of the exercises appeared different from the front view to the side view on one I did today (#33). I was halfway through, the view changed, and my arms were doing what I saw in the first view when the second view was quite different. I have been subscribing to another senior fitness program for over two years that uses a real person with warmups and cool downs that is excellent. The exercises in this program aren’t enough to do much in terms of burning calories. A small handful require contortions not easily done by a 76 year old person. I am one month into a three month subscription and have not seen much that I am impressed with. When to inhale and exhale are explained on some but not on others. I had to turn the music off in order to hear the directions. This looks like a rapidly put together AI program that wasn’t checked for its many inconsistencies but was rushed out to make some quick cash because the market competition for elderly exercise programs is pretty fierce. I probably will not renew my subscription.

Save yourself frustration

This app is confusing! The company was advertised to me from social media (FB) and when I purchased- it had broken links (with message 404) to their website. They emailed me download the app but did not have this purple logo ANYWHERE in the verbiage for Tai Chi. The printable guide was great but I wanted to see the moves. This company asked a bunch of questions to me when I signed up- when I finally got to the app (had to open the welcome email from my phone) and click on link to download load app— it took me straight to seated tai chi. Not a happy customer. When I wanted to try out other formats- app asked it I wanted to completely leave the progress of Seated Tai Chi and lose my progress. So you can’t switch programs (genres of workouts) and it remember where you got to). Also the pictures are really off putting. On picture will show you a Beachbody but when they sent me tai chi guide it was an obese woman - why can’t you just have average medium build women ?? I found a link from my initial email to “contact us”. Otherwise there is no way to reach the company. Stay away from

Not too hard, not to easy

I have signed up for this kind of exercise before and did not follow through. I just jumped into this one, hell bent of following through. I don’t know if this is wishful thinking but I am feeling better. Maybe it is just because I AM DOING THIS PROGRAM, but it doesn’t matter. I am doing something to make my body move. I would recommend for all seniors especially the inactive ones. I am 25 days in. I have found I have really benefited from doing this. I am totally enjoying the feeling of accomplishment. Sadly, very sadly, after the first intro month and then paying for a regular month, I have to drop it because for a senior, I can’t afford it. $40 isn’t much for some but, it is for me. So sad to have to give it up. I will finish the month I have paid for. Thanks, it really was great for me.
