Dent Shop Manager runs a hail and paintless dent repair (PDR) shop from the phone in the bay. Every car follows the same checklist from intake to delivery, every photo and document stays with its claim, and every rep's pay is worked out from the claim itself.
It started as the system a working auto hail repair company built to run its own season, and now it is built for the whole hail and PDR community.
EVERY CAR, ONE CHECKLIST
• Every claim gets the same 39-step checklist in four checkpoints: Intake, Ready to Proceed, Post-Repair, and Financials & Delivery.
• Gate tasks move the car to its next stage, so nothing gets skipped.
• Each claim shows the next task to work, the assigned sales rep and tech, and the rental car.
• The Garage lists every car by stage. Search by customer, vehicle, RO or claim number, and filter by insurance company.
NEW CLAIMS IN A MINUTE
• Decode the VIN to fill in year, make and model.
• Add the customer, insurance company, claim and policy numbers, adjuster, storm and rental.
• Fix customer, vehicle and insurance details after the claim is created.
PHOTOS AND PAPERWORK
• Take damage photos with the camera or pick them from your library. They are uploaded without their GPS location.
• Turn a claim's photos into one PDF and share it.
• Create the repair authorization, prior damage inspection, rental agreement, vehicle release, hail scope sheet, invoices and total loss notice, filled in from the claim and your shop profile.
• Scope hail damage panel by panel with dent counts and sizes, then build the PDR invoice panel by panel.
INSURANCE CALLS
• Call scripts for each stage of the claim, with the customer, vehicle and claim details already filled in.
• Tap to call the insurance company.
MONEY AND PAYROLL
• Track insurance payments, supplements, expenses and gross profit on every car.
• Take a photo of an invoice and the app reads it, so you only check it and record it.
• Pay each rep a drop, a backend commission (flat or percent of gross), or both.
• Once a car is delivered and paid, clear it for payroll. Pay on a cleared car is locked, so nothing is paid twice.
• The weekly payroll adds up drops and backend per employee with year-to-date totals, and emails each person their statement.
• Storm profit and loss shows how every storm of the season is doing.
• The sales leaderboard ranks reps by cars, drops and backend.
HAIL MAP AND CANVASSING
• Radar hail swaths for any day back to 2014, hail spotter reports and today's hail outlook.
• Live hail cells and active warnings, refreshed every 5 minutes.
• Satellite view, so you can see the roofs under a hail swath.
• Canvass mode: long-press a house to drop a pin and mark it No answer, Not interested, Follow up, Appointment or Sold. The whole team sees the pins.
YOUR TEAM
• Owner, manager, technician, sales rep and front desk roles, so everyone sees what fits their job.
• Owners and managers invite teammates by email.
• The activity feed shows who changed what, and when.
• Notifications for status changes, rental cars due back, and payroll, with quiet hours overnight.

What's new:
- Hail Map as a main tab, with radar hail swaths back to September 2019, satellite view to see the roofs under a swath, hail reports, today's outlook and live hail.
- Tap the location button to see where you are on the map. Your location stays on your phone.
- Hail days run morning to morning, the same storm day the National Weather Service uses, so an evening storm stays on its own date.
- The 39-step checklist on every claim, so no supplement slips through.
- Payroll: drops and backends per rep, a weekly run, and paid amounts lock so nobody gets paid twice.
- Storms: group claims by storm with their own tax and totals.
- Edit a claim's customer, vehicle and insurance details after intake.
- Managers can invite teammates and edit shop settings.
- Photos upload without their GPS location.
- Delete your account from Profile.
