Absolutely love this new EFB! The real-time fuel prices and FBO fee updates are helpful, saving me both time and money. It makes checking the weather so much faster and the accuracy is spot-on. The app provides all the essential tools in one place, but if I could offer one suggestion: declutter the default map, please. Sometimes I just want to look at a map. Overall highly recommend it for anyone looking to streamline their flight planning

I switched to 8Flight as soon as I heard that ForeFlight was being sold to a PE. I was already looking to get away from FF because they were overpriced and kept raising prices without adding more features. I found 8Flight about a year ago and I have no regrets switching to it.I’ve been using 8Flight now for almost a year. It has THE best weather radar imagery out of any EFB. The turbulence and clouds layers are also really accurate. The flight planning is easy to use and you can file any kind of flight plan. The app gets regularly updated with new innovative features. Its price beats(significantly) out both of the big name EFB’s yet offers/will offer the same features. Keep up the great work 8Flight team!

Really like the app, especially for Alaska flying with the color coded FAA cameras on the map for quick reference. The only critique so far is the flow of the flight planning, when you click on an airport to look at the weather would speed the flow up to add the quick links for details and direct to at the top like in the more function of holding your finger down on the map to see the nearest Navaids and airports. Definitely has some cool features compared to ForeFlight for less than half the price.

Glad you like it! When you tap an airport weather report, the top left button (airport symbol) takes you to the full airport details, and as of today’s release there’s a Direct To button next to it as well.
