Designed for ultimate convenience, Car Cast enables you to mirror your iPhone's screen to your car's display, ensuring you stay connected, entertained, and informed, whether you're parked or on the move. Never let an important notification slip by while driving again!
Key Features:
• Easy setup: Follow our simple instructions to screen mirror your iPhone to your car’s display.
• Flexibility: Whether you're parked or driving, Car Cast adjusts to your needs.
• Park mode: Cast movies, TV shows or live sport streamed by mirroring your phone to your car screen
• Drive mode: Keep track of important notifications, use your preferred sat nav app or music player
• Enhanced connectivity: Screen mirror iPhone apps like Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet to leverage your car’s display for video calls.
Car Cast is compatible with:
Tesla Model S
Tesla Model 3
Tesla Model X
Tesla Model Y
Car Cast works as a great alternative to Apple Car Play which is not available for Tesla vehicles. It works as a Tesla mirror utility that can use your Tesla's Premium Connectivity or phone tethering, coupled with WiFi or your phone's 4G/5G to stream your display in real-time to your main Tesla display.
Technical information
Your car must have MCU2 or greater to stream video in Park mode (typically cars newer than March 2018 are compatible). For Drive mode to function, your vehicle must allow the web browser to be used when driving.
Other cars may be compatible if they have a modern Chromium based web browser.
Car Cast: The ultimate iPhone cast to car experience
Streamline your in-car experience with screencast and car cast features that bring your favorite content and apps from your iPhone to your vehicle’s display. From mirroring phone content in your car to using alternative sat nav or maps applications, Car Cast enriches your driving experience.
Some apps with copyrighted content (Apple TV, Netflix or Amazon Prime for example) will not work when using screen mirroring with Car Cast. In the case of protected content, a black screen will appear. This is not a fault of Car Cast, but rather a feature added by the content providers.
Payments and Renewal:
Free plan includes 1 hour of streaming per month. Car Cast Premium requires a subscription either paid renewal subscription or a one time payment for lifetime usage.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Account settings at any time after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active period.

Not worth the price. Depending on your use case it is viable, but again not worth it. If you are getting it to any sort of media it is absolutely terrible. I got it so I can use my plex media while charging but the latency is so bad that it is completely unwatchable. Unfortunately had to pay a premium price just to find out that it is not usable. Don’t make my mistake, go elsewhere.- Update to developer response: I appreciate your reply but see two issues. The Bluetooth connection to my car is considered the key, so I never turn that off. Second, the fact that your app requires a stable internet connection is a flaw that other apps in this space do not have. Other apps have you connect your car to your phones hotspot so they are directly linked. For some reason your app requires everything to through your servers. Added point of failure as well as added security risk.
Developer Response
Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. In terms of latency, double check the connection speed you have on both your car and phone, a poor signal is the main reason for latency. We're going to build a connection tester into the app in the future. That said, with your use case latency should be irrelevant. Make sure you're not using Bluetooth audio but turning off the Bluetooth connection. The audio will stream to the browser and remain in sync with the video playing and store your phone away and you should have no problems watching Plex.If you want further support raise a support ticket in the app and we'll be happy to assist. Kind regardsLaurie
Park mode won’t load
Xerxes2121
Park mode just stuck at loading. Drive mode works but is definitely not for video streaming.
Developer Response
We had an issue with one of our data centers which has since been resolved. Might be worth trying again. Thanks for the feedback!
Almost perfect

I haven’t had the problems many others have mentioned. It pretty much “just works” for me. App is well polished. Screen even rotate when it detects that my phone is in landscape mode, instead of having to switch it myself. I do have some audio crackling issue. Not sure if it’s my connection or if it’s a problem with the app.
Screen share only
Marc42968
This application purports itself be a way to have interaction with your iPhone using the Tesla browser screen. However, this is only a screen sharing app, which has no ability to be interactive. Once it’s put on there’s a significant lag, particularly as you swipe through mini screens, using the phone itself even applications, where it would be helpful in an electric car you cannot engage the iPhone without touching the iPhone itself
Developer Response
I'm sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience, we had hoped by using the words "cast" and "mirror" would show that this is a 1 way screen share, we will update the app store listing to make this clearer. The "lag" is the framerate reduction in drive mode, this is intentional so that drivers do not watch videos when driving. It is annoying but necessary sadly, it still offers a solid solution for using sat nav such as Waze and Google maps that don't need such a high refresh rate. Park mode does not have this restriction or latency and is ideal for watching tv, movies or live sport. Thanks again for the feedback, it's appreciated.
