My original rating was 1-star as the app was plainly unusable due to an issue with login upon launch. I eventually discussed with the developer through Reddit and he was able to deliver an update which fixed the problem.I've now modified to a 4-stars rating as many issues were fixed in the last weeks. Nonetheless it's not 100% yet but keep up the good work!- I cannot launch some movie, not sure if the format (mkv, HDR, ...) is the issue or what (I don't own the library which I'm connected to)- Please allow to use Thumbnails in the Home tab too- I cannot use -15 +15 buttons, nor can I scroll in the timeline to go forward/backward (seems to be due to 'non paid' version but haven't seen it mentioned in the app)- If I reopen a movie it starts from the beginning every time

Great app for plex

Overall great app, especially compared to what’s available right now in the App Store. Only reason its four stars out of five is because my download function is not working. I’ve tried downloading multiple things off my Plex server and it just does not work. It gives me an error symbol. Downloading through the Plex iPad app works fine so I know it’s not my server. Once the downloading function is fully resolved I’ll update my review to five stars.

Thanks for reaching out. I am aware of this issue and although it won't help you resolve the issue, perhaps it will give clarity around the issue. The official Plex App uses a 3rd party video player that can handle basically any format you throw at it. However, this app is using the system video player at the present time. As a result, I lean on the Plex server to transcode files when necessary and sometimes it works, and sometimes there are errors. I am hopeful that I can dig in deeper and resolve those issues because I have noticed it as well and I want a smooth experience! I recently added local video playback as an alternative option to backup some media there (outside of app functionality).Know that this issue is actively on my mind. One of the most important new features is the complete environment elements in a real cinema (such as people sitting in the seats, people talking and even some noise), with which you would feel you were really there and not alone and isolated. It is even better if you could invite your friends sitting beside you and watching the same movie.

This is the only app that I found able to play my Plex library in a theater environment. It works great! One piece of feedback for the developer, when you move to another seat in the theater the animation is a bit nauseating. I’d like the ability to just teleport to the seat. Thanks for making such a great app.
Pages open instantly.
• Titles, libraries and Home appear the moment you open them, even right after launching, then quietly refresh. Show pages arrive in one piece instead of shifting as they load.
• When a server can't be reached, Chroma says so straight away and reconnects on its own when it's back.
• Widgets: pick whether tapping a poster opens the title's page or starts playing, separately for each widget. A film you have in both HD and 4K now shows once.
• Search shows only the libraries you've turned on, and a film in two libraries appears once, with its versions in the card's menu.
• Fixed search showing one server's results under another server's name.
• The download button reacts the moment you tap it, and tells you why when a server doesn't allow downloads.
• Closing a video fades out smoothly.
• A little celebration when your Chroma Pass purchase or restore goes through.
• Fixed a crash when removing a download.
