I should have done some research before buying. I paid six hundred dollars for what I thought would be a premium product and upgrade to my cheap Govee home theater lighting set up. Nope the lights a cheap light plastic. The LED strips are ok but light emission was underwhelming expecting more from something that cost 3x more than my current set up. The app is criminal. It’s terrible in every way. Offers very little light customization outside of color change and brightness. AND IT COSTS 5 A WEEK TO USE!!! We paid premium prices and still they want us to pay 20 dollars a month just to adjust color and brightness! Lunacy. I’m returning for a refund and never buying from this company again

This app is blocking the use of the product with aggressive, invasive, and unrelenting advertising in attempts to force customer to accidentally sign up for ‘pro’ at $99 per year. The use of the app is proving exceptionally difficult. Product was sold with instructions to use the free app to control the color and brightness of the bulb. However, any attempts to use the app to do this are blocked with advertisements. This company will be reported for fraud and should be sued for this rug pull maneuver. We are outraged at this unethical business practice. Allow access to the free app and product without requiring upgrades or payment as original product purchase specified.

what a joke of a product you’re already paying for an overpriced lightbulb and you can’t even use it unless you pay a subscription and you get pop-up ads every five seconds… you would think running ads on the app would at least make you use it for the purpose of buying the product but nope you have to pay subscriptions. Kinda embarrassing, buying it to show off how cool the feature it is when you can’t really even use it. Definitely returning these and I’m glad I bought it now so I don’t have to deal with this issue in the future

I didn’t know when I bought these light bulbs, you have to pay $4.99 a week to use it. I’m sorry but I’m not paying over $100 dollars a year to change the color of the bulb. The bulb is bought. Why should I pay to connect to the light bulbs I payed for. Rip off. I guess I can still use the dimmer for free with no color choice, again, for a light bulb I already payed for. I work in electrical at a large store, and I’ll never recommend this for any to BUY.
