Editors’ Notes
Bounce over candy corn foes while tracking down your mischievous kiddos as this delightful platforming series makes the leap from 2D to 3D.
Alright, but could definitely be improved
As everyone else has said, the game is good but the controls definitely could be a little tighter, especially the camera. One point of criticism I definitely have is the burger autorunning sections, which are a nightmare. A 3d autorunner in this style is just not that fun. The character runs too fast for the platforms, and in some sections the stiff controls and inability to slow down make certain sections impossible depending on the cycle you for (specifically for the 3rd world cannon obstacles). I think the bouncing tomato sections from the previous games would be a lot better in 3D, so I hope that gets changed for the next game. I still like this game though, and I guarantee that with a few fixes the next will be 5 stars.
Mixed at first but now I love it
After completing every level and getting all the stars I can confidently say that this game is amazing. The controls took a little time getting used to due to the camera but I eventually got used to it. There was also an issue with turning off the ui made the game unplayable which thankfully got fixed as soon as I encountered it. The bosses are a joke compared to the levels but this series never had the most fun/difficult bosses. Besides those few grips it was just a fun challenging experience. With the game being 3d now it was fun just exploring the levels for the hidden stars and finding alternative ways to beat the level in some scenarios. The gameplay after getting used to is still fun as any of the other Dadish games. Overall another fantastic entry in the Dadish series.
