When I first got the camera, I struggled with getting the connection, but eventually got it. I love the camera, however, my issue is with the delay of accessing a Live View of the camera when I’m away from home. Under WiFi, it would access just fine but still had a slight delay when it says a motion at the front door. It doesn’t always register and send the notification so I can see fast enough. When I click on the notification, it loads for a good few minutes before accessing it and by time it loads…whoever it was are now gone in or left the property. So, the delay is my biggest issue when I’m away from home. Sometimes it doesn’t notify me that someone just left out the front door. I have it right where it picks up when the front door opens and I know it should pick up when we leave home because it do every time I open my front door to walk it I get a phone notification. My niece goes out and it barely picks her up and I’m not sure why. She can’t avoid it because it’s right there. Anyway, I still like the camera though.

EDIT: as of 10/30 i’ve dropped down to 2 stars…it still takes forever to load as both of my cameras still currently show 10/28 at 11pm…all i see is that blue circle in the middle of both of my cameras, spinning….what’s the point in paying for something that works when it wants to work…the video quality is still great but it does no good if i can’t actually see on real time or past time for the matter…maybe my cameras will catch up to today’s date before tomorrow comes the quality is wonderful but it does take a while to load when trying to view live. It will circle for a while. I also don’t like the fact that I have to pay $30 to record per camera after already paying for the cameras themselves and putting them on the same wifi network. Cameras also miss movement when i’m leaving or returning home or when others are approaching or leaving my home. There is also a delay with notifications. I will see people walking in front of my camera from my window or I will walk by my camera and then about a minute later, the notification will go off. By the time live view finishes circling and pulls up, it’s already too late

The camera is good. Great quality and sound. The only issues I have right now.. it picks up every motion that’s at a distance but it does not pick up motion everytime someone is directly in front of the camera. When I view the camera it shows when someone is leaving out the house but not when they came back in, but on the next video it shows them leaving out again or it’ll show them coming in the house but not when they left out . Also, I bought another camera (same kind) for the back door, I added it to the account but still have to buy service for that one. WHY? I shouldn’t have to pay for an extra service when it’s on the same account.

I contacted the company when I saw that the only thing I could see was a still picture of no use. I was assured that I should be seeing a moving image, even without a service plan. I chose to get the service plan based on the information provided by the company. Much to my disappointment I am still receiving a still image and when I checked the cloud all that was there was a several minutes of a still image. To boot, there appeared to be no sound whatsoever… I sure can’t say I’d recommend this product or service! I downloaded the app from their website and still haven’t been able to get a moving image or for that matter any image unless I opened the app manually… I may not be the “best” at following instructions. Being an electrical engineer, but I can spot when said instructions leave a lot to be desired. I don’t feel I should have to spend any time on a company’s website to get their most basic model up and running! (Especially when they provide paper instructions for setting the darn thing up. Three different degrees in three different fields, think I have seen my share of instructions and know how to read them. Be more than happy to discuss them with someone from the company that is not an AI.
