There’s a lot of good in this game: all ads are voluntary, none will spring up on you; free chests earned over time still stack up while offline; the critters don’t need manually set to a new piece of candy as long as there’s an available adjacent one; and the wagon/factory upgrades are kept from level to level. This makes the game a lot less grindy than it could be, which is a huge relief.I would really love to see a feature added that’s like a “garden” of sorts where you can keep a few special Chomplets, like as pets. They’re super cute little guys!!! I would love to name and raise a few and decorate a little area for them. Maybe even give them accessories? I think it would be a fun side thing to unlock and play, and maybe it gives passive boosts too. Or it’s just for fun. I’d love to see more out of this game, it’s great so far.

I have been playing for a long while now. This was an amazing way to unwind, collect candies, advance towns, play special events. The addition of the chomplet pet was great, I love getting him and trying to keep him. When Playside took the level 4, 8, 12, 16, etc chomplets and made them super chomplets is cool too, HOWEVER, the fact that the super chomplets candies now BLOCK you from getting other candies and flags in the special events is TERRIBLE game play. I spend enough real money in the events and main play to get things I want sure, BUT being FORCED to purchase LITERAL THOUSANDS of diamonds to upgrade my super chomplets to get to candies, chests, and flags is LITERAL GREED on the developers part. Especially for those that have been playing for a long time and did not have the chomplets pets and super chomplets to start. To say that I am less than impressed is an understatement. If this cannot be fixed and make the gameplay FUN again and not PAY TO PLAY then I will delete and continue to encourage other players to delete as well. DO BETTER PLAYSIDE!!Update 9/2/25: After a message from the developers saying they will take a look at the gameplay and see how they can improve it, I have moved my review up to a three star from two as I do enjoy the game. If they hold their word I will even move it up to 4 or 5 stars and remove some of the original review. I am holding you to it Playside!

I really like this game! The graphics are great and the critters are super cute. I would recommend a few things though:1. Add in more variety. You just chomp through the pieces of candy, which is the point of the game, but it would be fun if there were like little mini events or something that allowed you to do something totally different. Like the gold rush thing at the end of each town is fun. Just offering some different types of events that have you doing something else.2. Maybe adding in a map of the towns so you could see your progress? I’m only on town 14 so I don’t know if there are any changes that I’m just not seeing yet, but that would be a fun feature. 3. I appreciate that you don’t have to be forced to watch ads, and that you do offer a lot of opportunities to increase your progress by watching ads if you want, but $15 is a lot to remove ads completely and I would be more willing to buy that if it was half that price. I’m a pay to play player, but that’s a bit too much for me. I had more suggestions but can’t remember then right now so I’ll update if I think of them again. Great job on the game though!

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while now and I love it. It’s easy and definitely idle for the most part. I enjoyed the recent option of being able to have the critters move to the next candy on their own but I didn’t like the auto combine feature. I like to spread my critters out for maximum-ish conquer-ability on candies. I also agree with another reviewer about how difficult it is to level up the magic critters. I do think that needs to be made a bit easier or more ways to gather gems or whatever is being used in each event to level them up. Other than that, very enjoyable game and one of my favorite. Plus the chomplets are freaking adorable. I also appreciate the small pay fee to get rid of ads. That makes a HUGE difference compared to other games and bumps up the star rating significantly. Keep up the fun work guys!

I’ve been playing this game for quite a while now and I love it. It’s easy and definitely idle for the most part.
