Given that Pelago is a Singapore Airlines platform, using my KrisFlyer miles here seemed like the obvious choice. When I needed to adjust the dates for a tour I had booked, I simply canceled it to make the change. I certainly appreciate the seamless efficiency with which my miles were deducted instantly upon the original booking. It is truly a marvel of modern technology. However, I am equally astounded to learn that the refund process requires a full six weeks to complete. This delightful detail, conveniently omitted during the cancellation process, was only revealed after a customer support agent kindly directed me to a link buried deep within your portal. While I understand that crediting points back might be a monumental task compared to deducting them, a six-week turnaround in the AI era is certainly an ambitious standard for customer service.

Frustrating Checkout Glitch: Unable to Redeem KrisFlyer Miles Due to Missing OTPs

I am extremely disappointed with the payment process on the Pelago app when attempting to redeem KrisFlyer miles. Every time I select the option to pay with my KrisFlyer miles, the cart times out before I ever receive the required 6-digit verification code (OTP).Clicking the "Resend Code" button does not fix the issue—the code simply never arrives. I have extensively attempted to troubleshoot this problem by trying two different phone numbers over multiple days across different network environments, but the result is always the same failure.Because the payment system repeatedly locks out users attempting to redeem earned rewards, it raises a serious question: Is this persistent system error a deliberate attempt to deter customers from actually using their KrisFlyer miles to pay?Pelago needs to urgently address and fix this authentication/checkout timeout bug. As a partner of Singapore Airlines, a smooth redemption experience should be the bare minimum.
