I’ve been gardening for over 60 years. I’ve been a Market Gardener/Farmer and a Home Gardener. When I discovered SeedTime about two years ago, planning my simple home garden was a nightmare, i.e., where to plant, what to plant in specific areas to replenish the soil, etc. But when I was growing vegetables and fruits for sale, the nightmare was highly stressful and time-consuming. Since discovering SeedTime, it has resolved the immediate issues each year by noting my first and last frost dates and doing the calculations for when to start planting seeds inside and when to move them to the garden. It also worked with starts from the garden center. And now it has layouts of your actual beds and their shapes. Among the beautiful areas of the program and now the app is that it has a journal section. No more having to physically write your notes, formulas, and things of interest in a separate binder. Now, you can carry it with you at all times. You’re also able to include fruits, not just vegetables. The Team at SeedTime keeps introducing new features, each enhancing the program's functionality. The SeedTime program is well worth the money, and now this app is the icing on the cake. I’m so glad I found SeedTime. If you do any farming or are a home gardener - you need SeedTime.

I purchased the lifetime version, but the free version of this app is just as amazing. The free version has everything you need, unlike some free apps that leave out a necessary component that you have to buy to make it actually work. This app takes on the time consuming part of making calculations so you can spend more time doing the fun part of design and gardening. It’s user friendly and new features are being added continually. It has an extensive list of crops that has been expanded on a regular basis and you can use it to keep track of your seed inventory. When you select the crops you want to grow it calculates seed start thru harvest dates for you. If you change a date it recalculates instantly. You can also add your own crops. Creating a garden plan is easy, making changes is just as easy. With the capability to add your own crop and draw your custom garden I’m using it to design my landscape garden beds.

I LOVE Seedtime! I used to spend hours figuring out my timeline to seed, transplant, and harvest so that I would maximize my spring/summer crops. Now I only need to figure out what I want to plant, plug those crops into my calendar, and Seedtime does the rest based on my planting zone. It’s been a game changer! I’ve enjoyed gardening again without the stress of the logistics and I’ve even ventured into fall/winter crops because Seedtime helps me with the timing. Having the calendar and task list at my fingertips on the app has helped tremendously. I know what has been done and what’s coming up. Seedtime is always making improvements and adding new features, and their customer service and training segments are SO helpful. Though my personal garden layout (paid version of the program) isn’t available on the app yet, I don’t doubt they will get there sooner than later. Thanks Seedtime for helping me find the joy in gardening again!

This app continues getting better and better. I am amazed at all of the features. You can easily get overwhelmed by the data offered in the app, but once you get clear on what you want out of your garden it’s easy to make the app be as simple or complex as you desire. If you are a planner and like prepping ahead of time and love gardening, this app is for you. I love simply entering the variety of seeds I just snagged at the store and let Seedtime add it into my garden tasks, and it has made all the difference in being successful in my garden, acquiring the materials I need, and being efficient with my time. I have gone from a novice and sometimes successful gardener to a very successful gardener and supporting my family with fresh food supply and I am so happy!
