CalCs (short for "Calendar Complications") is a watchOS-only app that provides various complications related to the calendar.
---Important Notes---
The features built into the main body of this app are limited to listing events/reminders & displaying a monthly calendar.
All other features are provided through complications & the Smart Stack.
●If you download CalCs from the iPhone App Store, due to synchronization issues between the iPhone & Apple Watch, CalCs may not appear on the Apple Watch.
According to Apple's specifications, watchOS-only apps cannot be re-downloaded from the App Store app on the iPhone.
Therefore, please use the App Store app "on your Apple Watch" and follow the steps below to re-download it.
・Scroll to the bottom→"Account"→"Purchased"→"CalCs"→re-download

Key Features
●Supports a variety of complications such as date display, events/reminders display, & monthly calendar display
・Date Display
Displays the current date in various formats.
・Event/Reminder Display
Displays events/reminders synced with your iPhone.
You can choose whether or not to include all-day events.
・Monthly Calendar Display
Displays the monthly calendar in various formats.
You can choose to start the week on Monday.
It also supports holidays in some areas.
Only Modular Duo supporting models (Series 7+, not SE series) can show a month calendar using 2 large rectangles. Other models can show it in one, with smaller font.
●In the main app, events/reminders, & the monthly calendar are displayed
Tapping the complication opens the app, where you can view the list of events/reminders synced with your iPhone, as well as the monthly calendar.
*Only incomplete reminders are displayed.
*The app currently does not have functionality to add, edit, or delete events/reminders, nor to mark reminders as complete. Please understand.
●Minimal Setting Options
To avoid complicating settings on the small Apple Watch screen, the settings only allow you to select which calendar/reminder lists to display.
*Notes
・The corner complications, circular complications, & large rectangular complications are supported only on Apple Watch Series 4 & later, so CalCs is not guaranteed to work on Series 3 or earlier models.
・Due to the limitations of watchOS complication display updates, complications may not immediately reflect changes when the date changes or after events or reminders are added or edited on the iPhone.
・After placing a complication for the 1st time, it may take some time for it to actually appear.
・If the complication is not updating, try tapping the complication to open CalCs, as this may refresh the data.
・If the complication is not updated even after launching CalCs, the issue may be resolved by one of the following methods. Please try them.
1. Restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch.
2. Force restart CalCs
① With CalCs open, press and hold the side button.
② When the screen for emergency call and power off appears, press and hold the Digital Crown.
3. Reinstall CalCs
① Press the Digital Crown to display the app list.
② Press and hold CalCs, then tap the × button to delete it when it appears.
③ Launch the App Store app on your Apple Watch.
④ Scroll to the bottom→"Account"→"Purchased"→"CalCs"→Re-download.
・If the complication does not update after force quitting and restarting CalCs, try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch, as it may resolve the issue.
・If event information is not displayed on the app's main event/reminder list screen or in complications, it may be because full access to the calendar has not been granted.
The issue may be resolved by following the steps below to re-enable full access permission to the calendar. Please give it a try.
①Open the "Privacy & Security" section in the iPhone Settings app & tap "Calendars".
②Change CalCs' calendar access to "None", then select "Add Events Only".
③When you open CalCs, you will be prompted to grant full access, so tap "Allow Full Access".
I like the app but it would be great if the space between a date and the event title can be closer. When there is no time event, space seems to be too much. Maybe use a smaller font size for time to keep the date and time to be same width. Also can you add an option to choose time format to 12h. Not everyone prefers a military time.(Update August 2024) Thank you for updating the app! This is one of my favorite watch app! Best watch calendar app I have!(Bug) When the time is noon or midnight in 12 hour format, it displays 00:00 AM or 00:00 PM. It should be 12:00 AM or 12:00PM

Dear jjkim5.(I am not good at English, so I apologize if I misspoke or was rude in any way below)Thank you very much for your review and high rating.I am very happy to hear that you like it.First of all, regarding the first of your requests, the space between the date and the title, are you sure you are referring to the rectangular complication of "Next 3 Events" ?This is Ultra, and the space is reserved for a two-digit month. (Ultra has a thicker font than other models and requires more space.)But if it is a one-digit month on a model other than Ultra, it may indeed seem that too much space is left.I will investigate if the amount of space can be adjusted for different models.Second, regarding the time format, I did not implement the 12-hour format because it would require additional space for AM and PM.However, I understand the need for a 12-hour format.I will consider adding AM and PM indications, and then I will consider how to display them in a way that fits in the space available.Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.I will update this page as appropriate so that you can continue to use it, and I look forward to working with you in the future. If there are any differences in perception, I would appreciate it if you could add them to your review or contact me at the following e-mail address.au11785@gmail.com[added 2024/06/10].A version (1.7) with adjusted space size in “Next 3 Events” was recently released.I would appreciate it if you could check it when you have time.[Added on 07/12/2024]I have released a modified version (1.13) that displays the time of various events in 12-hour format when "24-hour display" is turned off in the Apple Watch settings.I apologize for the considerable time it has taken.I would appreciate it if you could check it when you have time.[added on 08/30/2024]I'm very happy to hear that "This is one of my favorite watch app!" Thank you very much. As for the noon and midnight indications, I did not fully understand the AM and PM indications in the US.Thank you for pointing this out.I will correct it and hope you can wait a little while.[Added on 08/31/2024]I have just released a new version (1.21) that fixes the 12AM and 12PM notations.I would appreciate it if you could check it when you have time.
No space between last letter of day and first number of two-digit month
The Voice 2008
Hi. I really like this app. If you can fix one minor issue, that would be helpful. There is no space between the last letter of the day of the week and the first number of a two digit month. For example, on the sundial face, the date today is written this way with no space:FRI12/20There is no space between the I for Friday and the 1 for December.Could you change this so it has a space between the day and month? It would then look like this:FRI 12/20Obviously for single digit month values, keeping the space as a single space rather than having two spaces is preferred. Thanks for this great app. I use it every day!

Dear The Voice 2008*Please forgive any mistakes in wording or expressions that may be difficult to understand due to my unfamiliarity with English.Thank you very much for your review and high evaluation.I am very happy to hear that you found the app "great app" and "I use it every day".The "sundial" face means that the complication is placed at the four corners?I am aware that it is difficult to see the complications placed in the four corners if there is no space between the day of the week and the month. On the Apple Watch, which has a small screen size, when the month and day are both two digits and the font width of the day of the week is slightly wider, such as "MON" or "WED", In some cases, there is not enough space to display the day of the week, and "MON 10/..." is displayed in an abbreviated form. Therefore, the space is removed for crying out loud.I apologize that it is difficult to see, but please forgive me so that it will not be abbreviated on all sizes of Apple Watch and dates.Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation.
Next 3 Events!
GLM1984
Love that this app was under a dollar and has no monthly fee. Simple to display next 3 events. A little slow when the app is opened, but really unnecessary to do often. Would love to remove am/pm to display more of the title of the event.

Dear GLM1984,*Please excuse any mistakes or unclear expressions, as I am not very fluent in English.*Thank you very much for posting your review and for giving a high rating.I am also very happy to hear your kind words: “Love that this app.”I am sorry for the inconvenience regarding the startup speed.Although I have been trying different approaches, it is currently quite difficult to improve it further. If I come up with a good idea, I would like to fix it, so I would appreciate your patience in the meantime. As for the AM/PM display, it depends on the following setting in the iPhone's Watch app:Clock → 24-Hour TimeIf this option is turned ON, the AM/PM display disappears and the time will be shown in 24-hour format. Please check this setting. If my understanding is different from yours, or if the issue is not resolved even after trying the above, I would like to hear more details about your situation. In that case, please either add a note to your review, or contact me via the following email address or X (formerly Twitter) account:Email: au11785@gmail.comX (formerly Twitter): @akihiro11785If you update your review, it may take a few days before it reaches me because of Apple's review process. Therefore, sending it by email or X would allow me to respond more quickly.Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.
・Added a complication type that displays a 5 week calendar on the left and date/event information on the right, allowing you to show the ongoing or next event.
・Fixed minor bugs.
