What's new in 1.12.0 Message links and search • Copy Link on any message or reply, and share it anywhere. • Message links open right in the app and show who wrote the message and where. • Up to three links to Umbrella messages show a preview card under the message. • Jump to any message, however old, from a link, notification or search result. The message is highlighted, and "Jump to latest" takes you back. • Search messages inside a chat, or across all your chats. • The DMs search now finds messages as well as conversations. Notifications • Chat notifications now show the person's photo or the group's picture. • Several notifications from one chat are grouped into a single notification. • Opening a chat clears its notifications from Notification Center. Fixes and polish • Messages no longer post to the wrong chat or thread when moving between screens. • Opening an old thread no longer moves it to the bottom of the chat. • Deleted messages now show as "Message deleted" in chat previews. • VoiceOver now reads links and mentions aloud. • Cleaner date labels in chat, and search starts fresh every time you open it.

What's new in Umbrella • A redesigned Activity tab: each chat, thread, task or event now has one entry that tells you what's new, grouped by day • Filter Activity by type or project, and switch to Unread with one tap • Open the project or conversation behind any notification from its menu • Tapping a notification takes you straight to the message or comment and highlights it • Chat notifications now arrive for every message and are grouped by conversation, then cleared once you open the chat • Notifications appear while you're using the app, and are marked as read when you tap them • Guest links: invite guests to a project with a link, manage guest access in one place, and revoke links anytime • Bug fixes and performance improvements

Connected accounts, all in one place • See the Google accounts you've connected in Settings › Integrations, with the status of Google Calendar, Gmail and Google Drive at a glance. • Reconnect, allow more access, or disconnect from one spot. Umbrella tells you what disconnecting removes before it happens. • Connecting your calendar and email is simpler and more reliable, with clear messages if anything goes wrong. • If an account's access is revoked, you stay signed in, and Umbrella asks you to reconnect it. • Fetch recent emails now brings your latest mail into your inbox in Umbrella. Faster, smoother AI chat • Recently opened chats appear instantly, with your latest messages ready. • No more old messages flashing when a chat opens. • Ask Umbra about your inbox, and open any email right from the chat with View email. • Older email messages that showed as raw code now open cleanly in the email viewer. Fixes and polish • Fixed a crash that could happen when a chat message contained certain links. • Long links no longer overlap the text above them. • If an event can't be saved to a calendar, you'll see why and how to fix it. • On-screen messages now stay up for the right amount of time. • Some email dates are no longer shown a day off.

What's new in 1.9.10 Rich text, everywhere you write • Format messages, task descriptions and comments: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, headings, lists, quotes, code and links. Tap Aa for the formatting bar, with undo and redo. • Mention teammates with @ in chat, task descriptions and comments. Mentions of you stand out. • The message box grows as you type and opens to full screen. Drag it down to shrink it. Tasks • New Activity section: a task's comments and its full change history in one place. • You can now delete your own comments. Looks like the web app • Links show as tidy link chips, and a pasted link shows a single preview. • Messages, descriptions and comments now match the web app's fonts and styles. Fixes and improvements • Light mode: buttons, icons and menus that were hard to see are now clear. • Conversations no longer show old or deleted messages. • Fixed a crash when opening some projects. • Project pictures are back in the sidebar. • Swiping sideways no longer takes you back, so scrolling can't close a screen and lose your draft. Use the Back button instead. • Your sign-in is now stored more securely.

Everything you do syncs live with your team on the web, and boards created on desktop open exactly as you left them. • Draw freehand, or add shapes, sticky notes, text and images • Connect anything with arrows that stay attached when you move things around • Group objects and wrap them in frames to keep a busy board organised • Restyle anything — colour, fill, line weight, corners, opacity and fonts • Pinch to zoom, drag to pan, and snap to line things up neatly • Resize, rotate and duplicate a whole selection at once • See who else is on the board with you, live • Search to find anything on a crowded board • Share a board as a PNG or SVG Boards open in View mode so you can read and explore without moving anything by accident — tap Edit when you're ready to make changes.

What's New in 1.9.6 A REBUILT STRUCTURE Folders and hubs are gone. Everything now lives in one simple hierarchy: organization, category, project. What used to be called workspaces are now categories. WORK IS NOW A TREE The Work screen is a full navigation tree. Drag rows to reorder them, tap the row menu for quick actions, and create anything from two lightweight sheets. A CLEARER TAB BAR Tabs are split into places you go and tools you use. Notifications moved back into the header, and More is now a proper screen organized into three colour-coded sections. LIVE CHAT Messages arrive the moment they're sent. You'll see read receipts and who has seen a message, a connection indicator when the network drops, and a retry button if a message fails to send. Recent conversations load instantly on open. DIRECT MESSAGES DMs now have their own list, separate from your channels.
