I have been a ham for 5 years, and World Radio League is not stuck in the past like most other logging systems. It is so much more than just another ham radio logger. Finally, somebody is building a platform that feels modern, clean, fast, and actually designed around how operators work today instead of how they worked 25 years ago. The app is simple to use, portable-friendly, visually clean, and does not feel like old software barely hanging on.What I like most is that WRL keeps evolving. It feels alive instead of abandoned. Most ham radio logging software looks and feels outdated, overcomplicated, and disconnected from newer operators and modern devices. WRL is moving forward. This is one of the first platforms I have used in amateur radio that genuinely feels built for the future instead of the past.

WRL has a lot going for it. It’s modern, polished, and much closer than QRZ to the kind of all-in-one ham radio platform I actually wanna use.But for portable operators, the experience still feels unnecessarily locked down. Off-line functionality is significantly limited, and while that’s apparently being improved, imported QSO’s still don’t receive full award credit unless they pass through an external service like QRZ or LoTW.I genuinely don’t understand why routing user submitted contacts through an older (and incredibly frustrating) third-party service somehow makes them more legitimate than importing the ADIF directly from a separate app. It honestly feels less like verification, and more like ecosystem lock-in. Especially when WRL‘s own off-line limitations are the reason I’m using another logger in the first place. I’m a portable operator, so I’m willing to give WRL time to mature. It’s clearly moving in a good direction and when it gets there I’m planning to become a lifetime member. But right now, the combination of missing field features and policies that penalize people for using a better suited field logger makes the platform frustratingly difficult to support.Great concept, fun app if you’re a ham glued to your home QTH and hate touching grass.

I started using this to log after switching from Hamrspro to it and has enhanced my experience hunting and activating POTA! I activated quite often and have had do much fun using it. On top of that the developers actually listen to thier users, they have live stream sessions going of the features. They run a discord server to stay connected and build community. Hats off to these guys and gal! 73, N4CRP. Howard!

I signed up for this when I was at Dayton 2025. I really like the look & feel. But I never realized at the time it was missing an option - QSL Received and Sent fields. I’m not talking about signal reports, I’m talking about being able to track that I sent a physical QSL Card or received a physical card. I love having the cards in hand, call me old fashioned. This logger is top notch, and likely I’ll keep supporting it for a while unless the feature never gets implemented.
