Been using this app for a couple months now, and I have made some really nice songs with it so far. (I really only make rock/metal songs so I can’t vouch for other genres) I’ve really enjoyed it, I’ve made several songs with just the description part, but at this point I’ve used the lyrics side and have completely wrote like 10 whole songs now myself. Really have liked the ability to take what’s in my head and bring it to life with this technology. The few issues I’ve had with it that have continued to plague me since I started using it, sometimes wether you choose male or female it will still use the other genders voice and for me has gotten stuck like that till I restart the app, it has also occasionally given me the error when trying to make a song and just keep giving me the error message until I restart the app, hasn’t done it that often thankfully. Also have noticed the AI sometimes doesn’t understand when your describing a specific kind of sound you want it to mix into your song. For example, when I tell it to give the song say a Glam Metal or Hair Band kind of sound, half the time it don’t understand what I mean and just makes it sound like death metal or something completely different, other times it seems like it picks up on it but makes the song too short or too long and cuts itself off in the lyrics when it turns out really good. Those are the main issues I’ve had with it, it’s been fine up until today when writing my own songs but I fired it up today and saw it said I could only use 1200 letters or whatever, that’s nowhere near enough for me. When it was at 1600 or 2000 (whichever one it was) that was fine. I usually make my songs that I write myself about 5 or 6 verses and the chorus about 2 or 3 times. 1200 isn’t enough to write your own song, or at least for me it ain’t. Other than that, it’s been great fun using the app and I’m thankful for it. Thanks again, hope these issues can get ironed out.

I really enjoy using Soniva Music. I tried several other music apps before, but this is the one I stayed with because it genuinely works well for me. As an artist, I use the app to explore melody ideas, learn my songs, practice them, and prepare before recording in the studio.There is one feature I would love to see added. The app already allows us to separate the vocals from the instrumental, but I wish there were an additional option to remove only the lead vocal while keeping the background vocals, harmonies, and chorus. Practicing with a completely empty instrumental can sometimes feel awkward, especially when the chorus and background vocals are an important part of the song.It would be wonderful to have both options: a clean instrumental with no vocals and an instrumental that keeps the background vocals and chorus but removes the lead singer. That would make the app even more useful for singers and artists who use it to rehearse and prepare for studio recordings.

The quality of the music produced by this app just blows other music AI apps away. I made a couple songs with it and just decided to buy the top-end subscription. It’s my primary way to listen to music now. What is needs to improve on: There needs to be a way to edit specific lyrics and then put them back into the song, allowing slight modifications to the music. There also should be a way to edit the metadata. Some social media apps only pull the metadata for the title, so receivers won’t see the title you renamed it as. The app may generate the same title for many different songs, so people think they’re all the same song I do think Soniva made the right decision with producing multiple versions of each song. Most of the time 1 or 2 songs are off what you wanted, but one of them will be exactly what you wanted or better. It can be frustrating if you’re only using the free version but it’s worth it to buy the subscriptions, it’s a much better process. It’s condensing months worth of work into 5 minutes.Results may not be as good for others but that’s probably because they need to better learn how to prompt on AI. I used to be a songwriter and audio engineer. I’ve made about 15 songs on this app so far and the good things that I’ve noticed is that the voices are amazing. As long as you give it the right direction it will create “close” to what you were looking for most of the time. Once in a while you can get a banger. Out of my 15 songs I have one banger that I could hear on the billboard charts. The descriptions have to be 1000 characters or less so I use ChatGPT to help me write the description and then I insert it into this app. If your song isn’t turning out the way you want then I would suggest switching the mood of the song. I have found success picking two or three moods at the same time but no more than that. Sometimes they will contradict each other. This is a pretty cool app and it can make some decent songs but you’re not always going to get what you’re looking for. That must be why it gives you two variations of each song you create.Eric
