I was originally looking for an app to update my headshots for work and saw how much more Remake was offering, so I decided to give it a go. Honestly, I wasn’t impressed with what was being generated initially, but as they say “garbage in, garbage out”, so I made the effort to upload better pictures and now I can say I’m much happier with the results. Definitely worth trying out.

Do NOT download if you’re expecting to create Star Wars AI photos. The ad is a blatant lie!I wouldn’t say the images produced are entirely horrible, but the fact is I downloaded this app and paid $7 solely because the ad promised Star Wars-themed AI photos. There is no Star Wars pack. It was a complete lie. I should have known better. 😔On top of being misled and wasting money, I tried uploading a handful of photos, and the results were extremely rough and distorted. Initially, I thought maybe my photos weren’t good enough, so I planned to re-upload higher-quality images to improve my results—but guess what? You can’t do that here.This is such a fundamental flaw that it boggles my mind. It’s clear the developers didn’t do any qualitative user testing, nor do they have proper user experience designers on their team. (I work in UX, so I can confidently say this is unacceptable.)You cannot remove or re-upload photos once they’re submitted. This lack of basic functionality is a huge red flag and should never have made it past development into a paid product. Honestly, this app feels like a beta release being sold at full price.Even if this core flaw didn’t exist, the processing times are outrageous—1 to 4 hours in my experience—and the final results just aren’t worth the wait.The bottom line: I spent $7 because of a lie in their advertising, expecting to create Star Wars AI photos. Instead, I got horrible depictions of my face slapped onto a random model in front of an imitation of Niagara Falls. Don’t waste your money.

This app offered/advertised as free, but right after upload asking for weekly payment, but you can X that , then on a app, if you try to generate , let’s say avatar of yourself, after uploading photos , go through few steps it stock at PAY GATE, have sign up for weekly payment. Way too deceiving. Bad offer. They should either fix offer, (not free) or offer better option like lifetime pay to access everything. Without “pay gates/pages” pop up to “continue” .. I understand that it requires computing power, etc, but my TIME is valuable too, to spent time , thinking that this free, BUT IT IS NOT (for something really good generative Ai) . And simple images I can create in free ChatGPT or google or meta Ai.

I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent purchase of an AI photo application advertised on Facebook. Despite the advertising, the results I received for my $34 payment were unsatisfactory and did not meet my expectations. The generated images did not accurately reflect my likeness and were, in my opinion, not worth the cost.I would strongly advise potential users to carefully consider their investment before purchasing this particular application.
