I have been a social worker for ten years and have just passed the LCSW exam. Out of all the study guides I bought, this app helped me the most for a number of reasons. First, it’s very convenient and engaging- I viewed it as a game I could play to pass time which helped me enjoy it more. I also appreciated the ability to focus on specific sections I had trouble with. Thankfully I only needed it for a month, at a discounted price of about 9 dollars. This was much more effective than the giant texts that costs a few hundred dollars.

I purchased this app approximately 2 1/2 months ago. Today, October 1 I passed my licensure exam with no problem. I completed the exam in two hours total and I kept waiting for the test to get more difficult. I feel like this app overprepared me for the exam because I had the setting on tough. And I was still getting good scores on the practice exams. I truly recommend this app. I also recommend changing the questions every couple of weeks so you’re not getting repetitive stuff.

This app is most similar to the actual ASWB LCSW exam questions than Pocket Prep questions (my opinion). I have taken the actual ASWB practice exam (for preparation) and the actual ASWB LCSW exam and these questions on this app are OFFICIAL for test preparation. Please use this app and share with other upcoming test takers that this app is most concise, thorough, helpful, and will fully prepare you for getting licensed and being done. I took my LMSW exam today and passed on my first try! I used this app consistently for two months, I aimed for 15-20 questions a day, and it helped strengthen my knowledge. Questions were semi-similar to the exam layout but don’t depend on similarity. It’s a lot of clinical reasoning!
