I saw this bird feeder at my friend’s house and fell in love with it. I ordered one for myself and was so excited when I set it up however, the app is giving me a lot of problems. I can’t view the recordings, it just says loading. Also now when I open the app I get an error that’s written in Chinese. I’m getting disappointed 😢

The BirdSnap camera/app is absolute garbage! What good is it to have such a cool product for people who love nature just to disappoint? The camera/app should work, otherwise it’s It is just a a snazzy looking bird feeder. And don’t come at me about my Wi-Fi being poor. That’s not the case, I have excellent coverage. It is the camera/app that is absolute garbage. A close friend of mine gave this to me as a get well gift because I am homebound. I don’t have the heart to tell her how awful BirdSnap is. At this point I should just let the squirrels eat all the bird seed.

I haven’t had many issues. Sometimes it lags when connecting, and a few bugs that were fixed in the updates. Otherwise, it’s kind of neat to relax on my lunch break and see what’s going on at my feeders. I’ve pointed it at the other feeders so I can see them as well. Pretty good camera and app at this price point. I’d like to get a few more!
What good is it if you can’t connect to it

Everything worked fine for a little while and now I can’t connect to it when I use open the app and try to connect to my camera tells me server time out the videos that it takes for the birds are getting uploaded so I can view them, but I can’t connect to the camera to do anything. This is junk. Very strongly. Recommend get something different.
