My therapist suggested journaling and I found this one. I thought I’d give it a try and I’d be bored with it in no time. I’m NOT! I paid for the year (worth it) I enjoy the feedback of my journal entries that it gives me. The insights on the week and tips on how to Navigate. Suggestions is to maybe add something for sleep. Like did you sleep well or no sometimes that makes an impact in your day and your mood and you will start to see a pattern for instance I discovered a pattern in the days of week and my moods. My ONLY flaw is there is no save draft or save for later or anything. Sometimes it takes me a little while to write because I’m a mom who works and has to multitask and sometimes the app just refreshes and loses my entire entry. So I have to either type it somewhere else and then copy paste to the app or take screenshots so I can copy the text and paste

When I get home from Oklahoma, I was feeling pretty bad about it. I felt I had been treated badly over there. They wouldn’t adjust the temperature. They wouldn’t allow me to watch the television. They weren’t too happy with the way. I discipline their child and then I’ve been ignored and not respected.Today I talked about all that in pretty good detail. The prompts kept asking me how I could do better next time. And right after that, I got an invitation to go over on 6 September for Parker‘s birthday. What I did today was outline a plan of action so that I can come away with my head held higher. No matter what happens.But what I am projecting will happen is I go over there? I get a hotel couple miles from them. I dress up a little bit. Make sure I shave look respectable. I go into the party maybe even before the party and see Parker and his brother Casey. And my daughter.I won’t play too hard with Parker because that’s probably what got him into an angry mood last time just too much hard playing Could take advantage of grandpa by bending my glassesSo I’ll go there remembering that and I’ll leave that party or whatever happens And head back to my hotel if I feel unexpected again that’s the solution I came up with with the help of this app

I’ve been processing a lot lately and the most common way for me to process in my highest form has been through writing. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this because my process is to talk out loud first. I just start talking one day, my husband said I think you need this Honestly app. Check it out. My frustration with my writing was that it would take me a long time to write out some things through the Notes app, but I could speak it out so much faster, the Honestly app, records me speaking and then transcribes it and even does a fantastic job of analyzing it so that it has keywords at the top. So if you ever scroll back in your journal to see how you were feeling on a particular day, honestly does that for you. I love it!

If I could give it more stars I would. I had a therapist for a while but I constantly felt like I really couldn’t truly open up and well the copay each time wasn’t helping. This app has given me a place to express myself, actually learn about myself and navigate my life in a way I haven’t been able to do with a therapist. My needs are not as big as other people who actually need the human therapist so my experience is different from others. But as someone who doesn’t feel comfortable with eye contact and gets immensely distracted when some else is talking and actually prefers to read so that i can re read if necessary? This is great. Cant recommend this enough
