I have had good results for weight loss with hypno therapy but it’s expensive to keep up with in person so I was happy to see that apps were developed for this. This is the first one I saw and I did no additional research. The appItself is frustrating to use because it’s constantly keeping me logged in but locking me out of the sessions so I have to go through some convoluted clicking to get them Unlocked. (I paid for the 6 month subscription). The content of the sessions is good- close to what I would get with an in person therapist- and the sessions are short enough that I usually do 2-3 daily. I do notice a great reduction of food noise and an increase in better food choices without effort. Recently the app - which had been keeping my place in the sessions- I’ve been doing themIn order- suddenly marked as complete a bunch of sessions I know I have not listened to so that was also irritating. But whatever. I paid for it, I’m using it, it’s working. But I would really appreciate fixes to these irritating issues.

No 30-day grantee as promised

I wanted to try Hypnozio due to a busy schedule. I have many friends that are actual therapists. However, I didn’t feel comfortable going to them professionally. A good friend of mine is very into meditation and he actually teaches it. I thought I would try the app and then maybe next time I was traveling I would try a meditation center. Part of why I actually felt comfortable trying these sessions, was because I knew that if I didn’t like it, I could always cancel it and get a 30 day refund; no harm no foul. After a couple weeks, I just wasn’t using it as much as I wanted to, I had taken about four different sessions under three different courses. I decided to cut my losses and go ahead and cancel it well within my 30 days when I reached out to somebody I was told they don’t do refunds. There is no money back guarantee that we are all promised when we sign up. I have a screenshot of it to provide below. Do not trust them it’s just unethical business to make a claim like that, especially to those who are seeking a way to relax and destress and help their life positively. The last thing that somebody who is seeking calm in their life and needs is an unethical business that doesn’t even try to stand by their word.

Does not honor refund policy

I canceled the product a few days after purchasing it after using it once. When I made the purchase, it said cancel any time within 14 days and get your money back. Ok, great. However, when I reached out to customer service to cancel, they said I wasn’t eligible for a refund. I had planned to come back and purchase again when I actually had the time to use the service but with my life being as busy as it is now and my only chance to sit still is what I’m going to bed and I fall asleep so quickly from exhaustion that the product would likely be ineffective. I knew this wasn’t the right time for me. But with the deception of the language and the refusal of a refund, I will not return because they don’t honor their policies or write them in vague way and bury them deep in terms and conditions. I read through the reviews prior to signing up and I wish I had heeded their warning. Each negative review is followed up with a “reach out to customer service” comment but why not resolve the issue when we reach out to you the first time? Seems those comments are just to save face on the reviews. People should not have to fight for a refund that is promised when purchasing.

This product didn’t really resonate with me and I found it hard to get into. Not so much an app issue but more of a me issue. I went to cancel the subscription during the 7-day free trial and was reading the FAQ for refunds and cancellations. It very clearly states a 30-day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied but asks that you give it at least 6 sessions before requesting a refund. I had done 3 or 4 and figured I give it another go but took my time since I read the 30-day money Bach guarantee in the FAQ. I gave it more than 6 sessions but still decided not wasn’t for me and today requested my refund via email per the FAQ. Almost immediately my sun was cancelled and they emailed me that my cancellation was confirmed but that they were denying my refund per Section 7 of their T&C. So I went and looked specifically at Section 7 but that had nothing to do with cancellations or refunds and was only about intellectual property and related areas. I screen shot the FAQ and requested again. That was also denied. Just beware and cancel in 7 days if you want to because there really is no 30-day refund as they stated.
