This update also includes brand new Fog of War tech, battlemap state saving, granting advantage & disadvantage on rolls, and so much more! New Features • Heist Society is out now! Rob the richest man in Mythas and explore 30+ unique rooms over 3 XXL battlemaps, plus enjoy 1 additional standard battlemap, 7 animated environments, 2 NPCs, 3 monsters, 2 music tracks, 24 inventory items, and our trusty GM Guide. • Fog of War tech has been added to the game! Heist Society features pre-set fog that can be cleared from the GM Guide, and fog can be painted onto any map in the game (including homebrew) from the crossed swords menu in the bottom right-hand corner. • Maps will now save their states, so GMs can add monsters and/or fog ahead of a Session! Maps in the GM Guide act separately from maps in the side tray, so be sure to open a pre-staged map from the correct place. • GMs will navigate Sessions 2-4 of Heist Society using a brand new mini map in the GM Guide! Used in place of the contents, GMs click on different parts of the map to auto-jump to the right GMG content. • Heist Society battlemaps feature hidden doors that the GM can open and close from the GMG! • Heist Society GMs will see a special overlay on the map that marks each door, and indicates whether it’s locked. • The home screen has been updated with the striking Scarlett Peaks. Meet her in Heist Society, where she’s voiced by the one and only Anna Prosser! • GMs and players can now do more on the battlemap – provided you’re not in active combat! Trade and equip inventory items, cast non-combat spells, and equip combat abilities inventory trading, spell casting, and combat ability equipping. GMs will still need to level players up from the story scene, though. • GMs can now grant advantage or disadvantage on roll requests! • GMs can instantly reload the previous scene via the menu in the bottom right-hand corner. It’s super handy for switching quickly between scenes or returning to an environment after displaying a full-screen inventory item. • iPhone users can now update their hero portraits – it’s time for a glow up! Bug Fixes • Deeplinking to campaigns now works for all users across the board. Create your link via the campaign settings menu and share it with all of your adventuring friends! • We fixed some basic UI related to campaign selection, inventory and combat abilities, demos and GMGs, and more. • The website lore and gameplay guide links are fixed. • iPhone users with disabled mic will stop receiving ‘mic on’ requests. Sorry about those. • If you think you saw a draft marketplace listing for an upcoming top secret adventure, no you didn’t. • Ability targeting now respects walls and line of sight. Your character might be powerful, but they’re not that powerful. • The crashing occurring with Dragon, Bookworm, Tidemaw, Maulcap, etc. abilities is now resolved! You’re not getting away from them that easily . . . • If a person left a campaign, it sometimes kicked everyone else off the battlemap and onto the story scene. We fixed that. Known Issues v0.25 • The Golden Slab in the Arena sometimes teleports strangely. Stubborn creature. • Peer disconnect or video chat connection labels may or may not persist. It may appear that your connection is poor when it is not, or is good while it is being throttled in the background. We are working on fixing this ASAP. If you see a ‘reconnecting’ pop-up, we suggest you quit and restart the application. • iPads with cameras on may experience Fablechat delays and syncs, along with game performance issues.

What’s New in Version 0.24.0 We’ve brought Fablecraft to the iPhone! The mobile experience of the game currently includes player functionality only, but GM functionality will be coming in the future. Along with the iPhone release, we continue to squash bugs, add polish, and continue to improve on the roleplaying experience. New Features: • Fablecraft can now be played on the iPhone! • Deeplinks are back! Invite users directly into your campaign via a generated link from the campaign edit screen. • Better Reconnect logic, particularly when you’re connected to a campaign. You should see less disconnects overall. • Battle Actor pulses for all token sizes. This helps inform you that it’s your turn. • New scene transitions while connected to a campaign. • The Home Scene is updated with a sneak peek at our upcoming adventure release. • Online status toasts now appear when users enter and leave campaigns. Level 9 baddies are tough, consider that a warning. - We added support for animated homebrew environment scenes. - We've added the tech for in-game discounts! It's true! We actually needed to develop the tech to put our adventures on sale. We just pushed a hotfix, bringing Fablecraft to v0.20.3. * Features * - Homebrew music and soundscapes are now available on the iPad. * Bug Fixes * - We performed lots of polish on [i]Once Upon a Wildwood[/i], including combat VFX updates and bug fixes. - We also tweaked language across store pages, demos, and campaign menus for clarity. - The new campaign creation button now sits at the end of the campaign menu instead of the front, making hopping into existing campaigns much easier. - We removed the deep links feature from the iOS campaign menu. It doesn’t work on the operating system. - We also made it so that the mic and video toggles can’t be flipped on and off on iPad when iOS permissions aren’t granted. Switching the toggles didn’t actually do anything, so that was weird. - We also fixed a bug that caused soundscapes to continue playing even after players left to the home screen. - Players will now see roll requests from GMs even when they are viewing character sheets! Hooray! - Level-ups now grant full HP and full Charge. Resting through growth, who knew? - We fixed a bug that would cause the inventory panel to show up completely blank. - We also fixed a bug that would label inventory items with incorrect rarity values. Sometimes a normal Bubble Frog really is just a normal Bubble Frog. - We’ve also made it so you can preview custom Jukebox uploads. * Known Issues * - If a player switches audio output while music is paused, the music will start playing through the new output device. This only happens on the Steam version. - Kai and Cali sometimes switch places in the Arena Demo. We haven't figured out why this happens yet… we think they’re haunted. - The Precarious Bookpiles tooltip reads six damage, but they actually deal 13. Be prepared when in battle! - Total damage in tooltips doesn't always reflect actual total damage thanks to hero levels and talent bonuses. - Account deletion doesn't fully update for friends of the deleted account. Friends may need to manually remove the account from friend lists and campaigns. - GMs cannot consume or delete items on behalf of a hero via their character sheet, but they can pass those items on to other players. - If an item appears in several places throughout a GMG, it will appear "handed out" in all locations after the first handout. - Some level-up bonuses aren't fully applying at higher levels (Inventor Level 8 doesn't receive their third Spellcraft die, for example). - Game Log data does not always save from session to session. - If a music track is selected in the Jukebox, it will persist when changing in and out of battlemaps. The track persists until an environment with another music default is selected or the GM selects another track (which will persist again). - Power Breach caps the Elementalist’s movement to 1, regardless of speed without it equipped. - GMG hover text may not consistently appear. One workaround is to click into another tab on the sidetray and then click back to the GMG. - While in the Story Scene, staged character tokens show a remove button for all players, but they can only be removed by the GM. In the demos, these cannot be removed at all.
